The rooms were quiet, being located in an annex to the rear of the main building. Comfortable, clean, well decorated. Felt more like a pub with rooms, but quite adequate for our needs.
Situated in the historic town of Windsor, Holiday Inn Express Windsor is just a 10-minute walk to Windsor Castle and the town centre.

Stayed here about 4-5 years ago for the first time when traveling with my child to LEGO Land Windsor. Was pleasantly surprised with value for money back then and had a perfect stay for a week. This year decided to choose Holiday Inn Experss for a week long trip to Windsor during Christmas/New Year's holidays. The place has never disappointed. Tidy, comfortable rooms, absolutely lovey staff (many thanks to the reception personnel for being very responsive to additional requests and help whenever required), great breakfasts. The place is perfectly located for local sightseeings and walks as well as perfectly connected to LEGO Land, Heathrow and for exploring the neighbourhood.
Located just 10 minutes’ drive from Royal Windsor, Toby Carvery Old Windsor by Innkeeper's Collection features free private parking and an on-site carvery pub.

We love Windsor and go often lovely place and lots to do. A good walk up the long walk is always enjoyable. The castle is good to visit and boat trips. Eton is only across the bridge to explore. Plenty of pubs and restaurants and cafes.

The castle is stunning both inside and out. It is amazing and you learn so much about our history.

We found a fabulous pub called the carpenters arms. It was warm and inviting and the pies are very tasty.

Stunning old buildings, nice outdoor spaces and plenty of bars and restaurants to take a seat in. The Two Brewers is a great little pub. Can get busy as next to the Long Walk but worth a visit. Plenty of independent coffee shops in both Windsor and over the bridge in Eton.

Windsor is lovely. The castle was beautiful and we saw the changing of the guard and state rooms as well as the chapel. Very impressive. Nice walks and trips on the river as well as shops and theatre.

The hotel is excellent. Despite being located next to the road, it remains quiet. Windsor Castle is just a 5-minute walk away. It's clever of the hotel to provide detailed video instructions for accessing the property :)
This hotel will be my first choice when staying in Windsor.
The hotel is a stone's throw from the castle. The minute you step in you feel a lovely Christmas atmosphere. From the decorated staircase to the welcoming open fire where you can have afternoon tea. Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make us welcome.
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was located in central Windsor. Windsor castle was a 5-6 minute walk. The hotel is located on the river Thames waterfront. Very beautiful and picturesque area. Nice walking distance from Alexandra Gardens.
Fantastic location. Beautiful room with parking available which is gold dust in Eton. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely. Top hotel.
