The property is in a very quiet farm location down country lanes. We needed somewhere close to Wick and this was available. The property was well equipped with welcome snacks and bathroom needs. It was very clean.

Lovely staff, excellent breakfast, and a wonderful adaptation of an old farmhouse. Supplied snacks in the rooms was a nice touch. I enjoyed reading some random English books about castles I found in a bookshelf, and my kids liked walking around the farm.

Problem was the room. They put us in the other Building. Nice room but getting to it you need a map and I would not stay there again I the other Building. I have to say the service by the Staff exceed expectations. In Particular Steward at the Door who greats on and arranges what ever you needs may be.There are a lot of great notes--but the reason to rest to this one's the attentive Staff.

The location is great, right in the middle of the old town, three minutes walking distance to Baths.
The hotel is small and the building is very old, possibly from 1500s but that is what you expect from a building that sits next door (literally) from the oldest surviving residential building in town, from the 1400s.
Although old, the hotel is well mantained and very clean.
There is a bar in the basement that is up to you to use after the personnel leaves at about 6 pm. You just keep a record of what you drink and of course you can bring your own food and drinks. We had a good time there.
Our son had his own room, basically. His quarters had no door, but it was a separate space with a bed, very convenient.
I work in Bath most weeks and love to stay here. It's a wonderful peaceful getaway. The Little Nest is so welcoming. It's only a short drive to Bath so for me, much nicer than parking at a car park and checking into a hotel. The private drive and picnic area are a treat, and the cooking facilities and fridge mean I can prepare my own meals. Hosts are very helpful and easy to contact.
it was an extremely pleasant stay. everything you could want was included and the instructions in the properties book have very clear instructions on how everything worked. You get a lot more facilities wise than most cheap hotels like travel lodge offer for half the price. i was highly impressed and would highly recommend for others to stay here.
A wonderful place to stay..staff very welcoming and the place oozes charm and love. Happy and healthy, well loved animals, delicious breakfast, comfy beds and wonderful smiles from staff. A gorgeous walk through the woods out the back of the property..quick drive to Bath and surrounding towns.
