This was my third stay. The staff are really friendly, and the bonus for us is that there is a warm swimming pool which is open all day. The price was really reasonable given the facilities. The breakfast was also really tasty, as was the room service. Highly recommend.

We booked as it was dog friendly and it was 100% dog friendly.
The lodge was super clean and the extra touches including bits for the dog were just so lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The location of the Barn was ideal for us as we were visiting Sarah Raven’s Perch Hill Garden which is nearby. We also visited Bateman’s and Sissinghurst and re connected with old friends from university for some of our outings.
A wonderful base for our little tour with free parking and a ten minute stroll to a lovely village pub which served excellent food.
Will definitely return to explore more super gardens and historic houses and castles.

The village is very quaint, chocolate box pretty.
The village is very quaint, chocolate box pretty. There are very few shops in the village, but Tunbridge and Hastings are nearby.
The hotel decor is amazing, very quirky and imaginative. The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. The evening meal was delicious. The only downside was the English breakfast, failing that would thoroughly recommend.

Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm.
Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm. It has 2 really excellent country inns: The Bell and The Bull (not to be confused). Both serve great food, with The Bell adding a modern twist and The Bull going more traditional. Both are worth a visit, though I recommend pre-booking.

It was absolutely wonderful staying at Huntley's Lodge and Rachel was a fantastic host. The house was clean, comfy, quiet, and most of all it was cosy and homely. It has all the facilities you need for a couple of nights get away from the stress of every day life. The bed was comfy, the place was warm, and some lovely touches around like cute books and a working guitar and piano. Ticehurst itself was lovely, and would recommend eating at The Bell, which was only a short drive away. Really hope to return again.
The hotel wasn"t busy so we were upgraded on one of the rooms we had booked. Both rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. The location of our rooms was very quiet, overlooking the golf course.
The staff were all very pleasant, the lady who checked us in for breakfast and looked after us was lovely.
We went for a swim the afternoon we arrived and had the pool to ourselves.
The breakfast was plentiful and good quality.
The chalet was lovely, clean and comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk, cereals, bread, butter and jam plus orange juice. Convenient location and although on a busy road it is quiet. The pub up the road serves a great selection of food and is also a chippy for takeaways. The Cherry Tree Inn just 1.5 miles away towards Ticehurst has a lovely outside area and serves great food.
Fantastic little property with all the amenities you could ask for. Just a short walk from Ticehurst lovely cake and bread on arrival would definitely look to stay again if we are in the area
