It’s all in the details! the decor of the room was thoughtfully and creatively put together. Everything was very clean and of good quality: the bed was very comfortable. The view from the window was fantastic - I saw some beautiful sunsets. It’s a very quiet, well planned community; many people walk their dogs on the paths below the top floor window. It’s also an easy walk into the village of Stretham: there’s a pub, a church, a village store, and a windmill!
My busy hosts were kind and provided a welcoming space in their home for their guests. The breakfast was available every morning in the kitchen/dining room overlooking the attractive backyard. A great start to the day.
Ely is a few minutes away.. I also visited wonderful places throughout East Anglia from this great location.

Location was perfect for me as visiting friends in Ely, 2 minutes walk to market square via a walkway through to the supermarket carpark, another 1 minute to the cathedral.

the staff took really good care of us , and where attentive to our needs. The staff showed flexibility and good customer service skills when we changed our booking when arriving at the hotel. We had a full English breakfast which was perfectly cooked and coffee that was brewed to perfection that set me up for the day
It's great for a few days - 5 maybe - but Stretham is not...
It's great for a few days - 5 maybe - but Stretham is not the main attraction, Ely and Cambridge are. Both are easily accessible by car as are other sights. I was surprised how interesting and attractive Ely was as a city - free parking, Oliver Cromwell's house, great walks by the river and parks, and that incredible cathedral.
Oh, and Tom's Cake & coffee shop in Ely High Street....always full and for a very good reason....
