Breakfast was more limited than I had expected. Meals were served in the pub - restaurant was not open, though I was allowed to eat my meal in the restaurant one night as the bar was excessively noisy and full. Staff were friendly and very helpful, but could not always overcome the lack of certain facilites. It did have a lift, at least.

Lovely setting, with large garden, close to Ely city centre. Breakfast was good, service friendly. Host was friendly, let us leave the pram downstairs. WiFi and TV worked in room, hot water in bathroom too. Room was large enough, well-equipped, fan provided to cool, snacks and tea and kettle. We would stay again.

Centre of town, very handy for shops. All facilities in room. Lots of space. We were in the middle of a heatwave and there was an excellent fan in the room which kept us cool at night. Had a lovely time, many thanks, see you next year.
It's great for a few days - 5 maybe - but Stretham is not...
It's great for a few days - 5 maybe - but Stretham is not the main attraction, Ely and Cambridge are. Both are easily accessible by car as are other sights. I was surprised how interesting and attractive Ely was as a city - free parking, Oliver Cromwell's house, great walks by the river and parks, and that incredible cathedral.
Oh, and Tom's Cake & coffee shop in Ely High Street....always full and for a very good reason....
