Nice, quite stay, music was off by 11pm, even though we didn’t hear any from our room, which is nice, room was clean and tidy and had a comfortable sleep, however the kitchen extractor kicking in at about 4:30am, had to grab the wife and tell her to hold on we’re about to take off, this can’t be helped as the extractor is right outside our window, if it wasn’t on there be no breakfast so understandable really,

Breakfast was beautifully cooked imaginative food. We were able to have quite different types of dish on each day. Evening meals are equally good range - well cooked, imaginative dishes. And there is also an outside pizza oven offering range of pizzas. Vegetarians well catered for. And of course, excellent Butcombe beer. (Wine good too) Lovely setting close to the river. Very relaxing.

The pub is located in a good location in Tewkesbury, the room was clean and the staff were very polite and helpful and the pub has free parking. Whilst we did not use the restaurant on the evening, we did have breakfast which was very good and well presented.
Ideal location for easy access off/on the M5 . Plenty of parking, access to 24 hour services. Good if you are travelling alone. Feel safe .
Good nights sleep with all the facilities you could need.
Starting to look a bit tired but adequate for a short overnight stop….

a convenient overnight stop when travelling long distance...
a convenient overnight stop when travelling long distance and a very fair price. staff cheerful. we had 2 rooms travelling as a family. beds clean and comfy, hardly noticed the noise of the motorway. bedside and central lights didn't work. bathrooms could have been cleaner.
I cannot give a higher rating for cleanliness because we, unfortunately, discovered the next day that the room had bed bugs and my husband and I were covered in bites on our forearms, lower legs and face. Horrible!
Thankfully, the hotel has given us a full refund.
Able to purchase vouchers to use at the food court at the services. Really good system. Whilst the hotel was a bit tired, it was spotless and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful.
