Loved the Value of the place, so much is offered by this place for what you pay!
The Bed put us straight to sleep, Bathroom was very nice and those towels were so plush. The Kitchen Space was incredible, (the cook book placement was a nice touch) organized, clean. Living Room! oh my that egg chair was so comfortable and novel, it shaped quite well to your body. Couch on the other end of the room, so much space overall to relax in. We loved the decor! Everything fit a theme and it was all so fitting, not even the least bit tacky. Last to say the little duck run out the window and the garden in view. This booking is an overwhelmingly full package.
The welcome book is packed full of useful information and brochures. We truly appreciated being able to check out early and we were given breakfast packs out of consideration of our early morning!
Featuring a restaurant, bar and free WiFi, The Crown Hotel is located in Glastonbury, 26 miles from Oldfield Park Train Station and 27 miles from Bristol Temple Meads Station.

Street has local shops and cafes, and Clarks Village which is perfect for an easy stroll round well-known branded outlets. Somerset is lovely throughout, so Street is a good spot to stay if you want to go to Wells, Somerton or many other historic and interesting towns and villages. The countryside is lovely too.

This commentary has nothing to do with accommodation.

Both, in Street and in Glastonbury, the transport company should provide more frequent buses, knowing that it is a tourist place and much more so at this time of year.

The High Street in Street has plenty of choice for eating...
The High Street in Street has plenty of choice for eating and drinking and, of course, the Clarks Village is just a minute's walk away. The Bear Inn, is a fabulous pub, restaurant and hotel all in one. There is also a Fondo Lounge on the High Street, a great ecclectic bar/restaurant brand which we love. Not far at all from Glastonbury too, so you can pop in and out without paying Glastonbury prices! There is also an outside public swimming pool for any adventurous tourists. We didn't use the buses but there were plenty of them around. Street is a compact, well connected and well resourced satellite town, and a great base for travelling inland and coastal Somerset.

Street good for larger outlets and coffee bar with snack quick bites to eat.
If you want easy access to the shopping at Street then The Bear Inn is the best place to stay.

Clarks village is great for shopping at discount designer...
Clarks village is great for shopping at discount designer prices and easy to navigate around. Nice place for food and drinks. Glastonbury high Street not far, recommend a walk up the Torr, recommend Rainbows end Cafe. Breakfast in the Bear was lovely. The Bear is a nice pub to meet friends for drink and food.
Good location in the nice little town of Street. Free parking in an adjacent public car park which I appreciated as so many hotels think nothing of charging for parking. Nice gastro pub vibe. The accommodation is in a little set of cottages next door so no pub noise underneath. Fairly nice room and if it had been £20 cheaper I’d have said good value for money. Clean and comfortable and nothing to complain about room wise.
It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The owners are kind, warm and very accessible. They made the most of the space they have and even put thoughtful touches like soap in the bathroom and kitchen for the dishes and laundry. It is also a great location in-between Street and Glastonbury.
The oldshool pub on high street doesn´t show off. It is from outside a simpel building with pub and restaurant. The rooms are clean, frindly and quiet. The beds are perfect! The dinner was excellent and the people working in that place give you the feeling beeing a friend. Thank you.
Loved how close the hotel was to both Glastonbury and the town of Street. Transport links were really easy to use. The food was lovely and the staff were extremely polite and helpful (couldn't fault the customer service!). Everything was extremely clean.
Location excellent. 10 mins walk to Clarks Village & Street High Street, & in the other direction, 10 mins walk to Sainsburys & Aldi. We also used a local bus, from the High Street, to go to Glastonbury
