Jennifer & Phil were very friendly, with suggestions on places to visit and eat. We dealt mostly with Phil up until the last morning, when Jennifer talked with us for quite a while about places to visit. The room and facility was very clean, the bathroom was large and spotless with great water pressure. The breakfast was delicious, especially the toast, although more on breakfast in the other section. Overall very positive, with a few minor quibbles.

We had never visited Stone before and we were amazed how many pubs there were in close proximity 😁
We did a treasure trail whilst we were there and really enjoyed it along with dipping in and out of pubs at the same time!
We have an evening meal at the Crown&Anchor which was really delicious.
The Mill@Stone Hotel was a lovely place to stay too.

I was there for a wedding so didn't really see the local area but went home to Yorks via Buxton. The road from the B&B to Buxton goes through the national park and the views were simply stunning! I recommend anyone to go visit this beautiful part of the English countryside.

Stone is in a lovely area and the high street had a variety of shops. There was a good choice of places to eat within walking distance. There is a wharf with canal boats. It is within easy reach of Alton Towers and is ideal if you are visiting the theme park.

The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. No bath is room but that wasn't too bad. Breakfast was delicious and wide range of choice. Staff all were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay at the Stone House Hotel
Lovely accommodation and breakfast. Relaxing guest lounge downstairs was great. Rooms are not en suite and you are well advised of that on the on line description and in the confirmation. Easy walk into Stone for evening dinner.
Lovely hotel, great location, have been here 2 times before. Bed was very comfortable. We ate in the Indian Restaurant in the hotel, food was delicious. Staff very friendly and great service.
