There are 2 sections to this hotel - old and new. The old section is nice, however rooms are small with terribly squeaky floorboards and doors. The new section is nice and modern.
Breakfast was nice and evening meal was good. Good selection.
Staff are really helpful and friendly.

Excellent communication prior to our stay. Very comfortable stay. The flat was very clean and all facilities described were available for use. The area is very quiet and felt very safe, and lots of on street parking available.
Highly recommend if you're looking in the area - Uber is available to take you to nearby places as well as several local taxi firms.

I stay at Stone to attend shows at the county showground and the property if perfect for my needs, there is a supermarket on the way in to the area which has everything I would need for a short stay. I don't tend to travel around the area as I need to rest after a long day and overnight drive from the south Coast. I believe the area is within distance of quite a few attractions and is an ideal base. I have used the town and had an Indian meal out with friends in the past, which was very enjoyable. I intend to return again and enjoyed my stay.

We had never visited Stone before and we were amazed how many pubs there were in close proximity 😁
We did a treasure trail whilst we were there and really enjoyed it along with dipping in and out of pubs at the same time!
We have an evening meal at the Crown&Anchor which was really delicious.
The Mill@Stone Hotel was a lovely place to stay too.

I was there for a wedding so didn't really see the local area but went home to Yorks via Buxton. The road from the B&B to Buxton goes through the national park and the views were simply stunning! I recommend anyone to go visit this beautiful part of the English countryside.

We stayed one night, on our way to the Staffordshire Show Ground. It was a fabulous location, just 15 mins away....We were more than happy with everything, the kitchen was well equipped (but no washing up liquid)but we managed with some liquid soap!😂...It was lovely & quiet ,with views over the countryside..& the bed was extremely comfy and We would definitely stay again...
Lovely accommodation and breakfast. Relaxing guest lounge downstairs was great. Rooms are not en suite and you are well advised of that on the on line description and in the confirmation. Easy walk into Stone for evening dinner.
