Never visited such a dump hole in my life. Absolutely filthy place, not much to like at all. First time visiting and can 100 per cent say never will we visit again. There are so many other places in the UK to go to that are much nicer and cared for.

Free fireworks on Saturday nights during the autumn weeks are brilliant. Other seaside towns should take note. Brought in families for the evening.
Found a quite part of Southend and was amazed by the stunning Edwardian/ Victorian architecture.

Excellent Attraction with a Pier Railway. You can take a train to the sea up to 1.3 miles. What an extraordinary train ride. Once at the sea, you can roam, visit restaurants, take pictures or relax by the sea. There are plenty of seating and spots. The Pier Adventures villages have a lot of rides and activities to keep you engaged. It has a long beach where you can relax in the sunshine. Many casinos and entertainment options are on the other side of the road.

Loved the open tour bus we took it to Leigh on sea and enjoyed seafood lunch at Osbournes and onto Leigh’s seafront that disappeared fast but worth the visit. Even bumped into an old school friend and her newborn and husband a very small world indeed. And of course daily annual pass sessions at Adventure Island. We had B&B lunch was light and dinner was local restaurants there’s Nandos Wimpy Kfc McD’S BK Taco Bell etc.

Very professional staff. Very friendly.. easy check in and very helpful with parking . great location. Beautiful view of the sea from our room. Buffet breakfast exceptional. Great size room we stayed in one of the junior suites .spa bath was small but divine. Couldn't fault the hotel and it's amenities. Ten minutes from Southend pier. Was given a map, very useful.
The location of the hotel is fabulous, it's on a very quiet stretch, overlooking the sea. We walked up the coast to the right to Leigh on Sea, which is lovely and some nice bars along the way. We had a lovely room, it was 204 with a sea room, would highly recommend!
All the staff are so so friendly too, great service.
Debbie was a great host central location with easy access too seafront and high street. The room was bright airy and suited the style of hotel. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had would highly recommend
Stayed here before at this friendly Family run hotel.Central for seafront,buses,trains to London and shops.Good breakfast.Warm room.Theres a bar,TV and food served in the evenings too downstairs.
