Immaculate and welcoming place to stay in Skipton
We stayed here for 1 night on planning to visit the Christmas markets. Sadly due to the adverse weather the markets were cancelled
Everywhere is so clean and well maintained. You are asked to remove your shoes on entering and leave them on a mat in the hallway.
The room was warm and welcoming, bed very comfy and cosy with lovely bedding and accessories.
The breakfast room was a warm and cosy room with lovely decor. Breakfast table was set out lovely for your arrival. Breakfast plentiful and delicious. Freshly ground coffee was a lovely added treat
Highly recommended for anyone looking for accommodation in Skipton

My husband loves Skipton which is a charming market town with lots of great facilities. The thing that surprised us most was how many use the canal for walking, running and access to Skipton itself. Aire Ville park was a complete surprise to us what an added bonus. The one regret was the Christmas market was cancelled.

favorite places were probably the cafe,s and pubs we ate in all a good standard but sometimes pushing the prices. It is easy to walk around Skipton but the traffic can be heavy and you have to watch when you step off the kerb. plenty to do for all ages and persuasions. shops galore, castle. cinema. lots of nook and cranny streets with interesting shops. canal trips and barge hire. Good bus and train station for trips to other places. market on a Monday and probably other days too. Walkers paradise. Lovely steam train ride from Embsay to Bolton Abbey.

Very picturesque countryside and Skipton itself is a nice little town to base oneself in and explore the surrounding areas. The Yorkshire Dales are as good as their reputation we had heard of before going there.
