We had a lovely stay. The pub is very easy to find and has plenty of parking. The room was lovely, the decor was nice and the bed was extremely comfortable. The complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits in the room was a nice touch. The owner was super friendly and made us feel at home straight away, and gave us lots of tips on places to visit in the surrounding area. He was very accommodating and nothing seemed too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious and all made fresh to order. The pub is in a great location for easily accessing some of the best towns and villages of the Cotswolds. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Shipston is a good location to be based at in order to explore the towns and villages around the Cotswolds. We ate in 3 restaurants in Shipston. The George and Buon Gusto which were both very nice with reasonably priced good food. We also ate in The Bower House, which provided really wonderful food.

    Really lovely village.

Really lovely village. The George Hotel is a great place to stay. Lots of tourist attractions close by. Really lovely scenery. Lovely quirky Indian restaurant close by that's great value for money. There's lovely cafe close by for breakfast too and some lovely shops.

    The hotel is shocking!

The hotel is shocking! Possibly the worst I've ever stayed in and I've camped! The bar area was probably the best part of the hotel room was very dated and in need of a very good clean the staff basically left us to it no interaction or anythin unless I approached them with an issue

this is a rural area in the Cotswolds and a marvellous, quiet, relaxing place. easy access to several towns in the area, with small roads that allow you to really visualise life in the countryside. I highly recommend it for those who love this kind of environment.

Pleasant area. Small centre but enough to cover various needs. A variety of Shops and restaurants. Easy access to other Cotswolds towns and villages and Statford on Avon. Lovely visits to eat at the Bower House and Frattelis, highly recommend both.

Breakfast cooked to order and was absolutely delicious. A nice relaxed pub/hotel with very friendly staff. Morgan and Katie were so sweet and very approachable. The whole vibe was chilled and relaxed, just what we needed. I had asked for a nice room when I booked as it was our wedding anniversary and flowers had been put in the room for us and a little note, it was a lovely touch :)
