Fabulous little bolt hole in Carteton. Upstairs part of a family house. 15 minutes walk from town centre. Milk tea and water provided. Nice and warm for a November stay. WiFi and car parking. Hostess was lovely. Not disturbed by family life.... and the dog was cute. A microwave and some utensils were provided for snack meals. Would stay there again when we go back to visit our friends.

Breakfasts were amazing first class. Location first class too. I guess the price you pay if high then i come to the conclusion that I paid for the location which was in witney not that far from Oxford!
Small residential town. Some pubs and restaurants in centre of town and in local countryside. Perfect as a base for exploring local area rather than as a place to visit.. few miles from Oxford, but relatively quiet. Blenhiem Palace 30 mins by car.. there is a crocodile farm nearby and its on the edge of the cotswolds... so quite a bit to do for a few days in the area.
