Nice family-run hotel and restaurant. Our room was well maintained and clean (it was a decent size for 2 adults and 2 children, but not more!) The restaurant is excellent and affordable. We could easily reach Oxford in 30 min by car.

Excellent breakfast, friendly owners & staff. Unexpected bonus of little roof terrace overlooking the golf course - great to sit out with a glass of wine in evening or morning coffee. Highly recommend and would stay again.
Small residential town. Some pubs and restaurants in centre of town and in local countryside. Perfect as a base for exploring local area rather than as a place to visit.. few miles from Oxford, but relatively quiet. Blenhiem Palace 30 mins by car.. there is a crocodile farm nearby and its on the edge of the cotswolds... so quite a bit to do for a few days in the area.
