Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Peace and quiet. Heating was on and it was nice and warm on arrival, with log fire set up ready to light, a couple of beers and milk in the fridge...and a box of Malteasers! Clear instructions for everything in the cottage, plenty of games, chess table, sky tv with Netflix. We had a lovely night and would definitely recommend. The area around Sedbergh is lovely with plenty of walks and places to explore. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Great for walking, plenty of choice straight from Sedburgh. There are a number of places to choose to eat from, we ate at Smatts Duo Cafe which we thoroughly enjoyed, this cafe welcomes dogs a must for us and had a coffee at the Dog Gun coffee shop another dog friendly spot. We had an evening meal at the Red Lion, again very dog friendly and tasty food.

A pleasant town located on edge of Yorkshire dales and 20 miles from the lakes. Good location for walkers , beautiful villages ( Dent etc ) and river walks are nearby, also a superb craft mill & arts centre with weaving , quilting , wood turning and cafe.
Local shops in the town, very good chippy , butchers , grocers , the major supermarkets are in Kendal ( 20 mins car ). Excellent 2 bed property , massive comfy beds and vey good self catering facilities. The local produce was so good we ate in , but there are 3 pub/inns serving a range of meals within 10 minutes walk.
Very quiet especially at night though look out for low flying military planes in the afternoon ! Well suited to older couples , hikers and walkers but also for a family. We loved the place and want to go back again soon.

Gorgeous area, plenty of exploring to neighbouring towns and villages.
Tons of walks, short or long, beautiful village, but closes by 4pm. Gorgeous pubs but get booked in advance chippy with a cafe, owners away when we visited so it was closed, but we've been before and the food is great.
Good restaurants just outside the area, ie Barbon Restaurant and bar food. Another gorgeous little area around and about

The house was warm, comfortable and welcoming after a long journey in heavy rain, and it had a lovely vibe. Everything was spotless and new, and the bed felt like sleeping on marshmallows!! All the rooms were spacious and light and very tastefully decorated. Sedbergh is a lovely town and the people very friendly. It's a good location to explore a beautiful part of the country.
Very cosy, well presented, clean and comfortable. It was a nice little nook to rest after days out in the Yorkshire dales. Parking permit was straightforward to use and there were several spaces available in the Joss Lane car park, nearest to the property. Plenty of nice eateries within walking distance as well!
The property was beautifully furnished, hinting at world travels. It was centrally located so extremely convenient for everything Sedbergh had to offer. The property was well equipped and comfortable. The hostess was welcoming and informative. The dogs settled I very well and loved the local walks.
Very comfortable and cozy, outstanding interior design and quality of facilities. Very friendly and helpful owners who live next door. Quiet location with easy access to Sedbergh and surrounding countryside.
The property is charming, clean and characterful. The location is ideal for a pleasant walk from the door into Sedbergh or up onto the fells. Thank you.
