Lovely period town house hotel situated in the centre of Leek, within easy reach of the main restaurants and public houses. Can recommend the local Wetherspoons “The Green Dragon”. For decent food and a friendly atmosphere with a decent pint to be had. If you like your authentic German or Belgium beers etc I can recommend the Der Engel and the food is exquisite.

Lovely comfy bed, room and bathroom very clean, and we had a great tea/coffee tray with biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge, which was replaced upon request.
We were given a parking space which was great as we like to walk about as much as we can.
Locals were friendly in the bar and there were fabulous real ales kept very nicely and at a reasonable price available.
We visited Rudyard Lake and had very good weather.

Location was perfect for what we needed. Bathroom on the main floor was gorgeous! Fantastic variety of board games - so much Scrabble took place. Character of the building including the old squeaky floorboards was all the more charming.

The Jewel in the crown is beautiful we all loved the decor and it felt very cosy. Perfect for a family break.
A lovely farm style kitchen, two lovely bedrooms, a beautiful cosy sitting area and a further sitting area.
Very clean stylish bathroom and property very clean throughout.
Barbara the host was very welcoming and friendly. Made to feel like nothing was too much trouble.
The kitchen was well stocked with bread, milk, cereals, jam, bacon, butter - and the best free range eggs from the chickens on the farm (they were delicious).
The cottage also had stocked bathroom, games to play, TV and WiFi (though we didn't really use WiFi as we were having a lovely time without it).
The views are beautiful surrounding the cottage. You even get your own little garden.
My children loved seeing the animals on the farm too it was a real highlight.
All in all just a wonderful place to stay, highly reccomend.
