Each and every member of the team were fantastic. From management, reception, bar/restaurant staff, kitchen team and not forgetting housekeeping. It was so noticeable the pride and excellent standard each member of staff strive to clearly give to their customer with passion to deliver. We had supper in the restaurant and ordered camomile tea for a bedtime drink, without prompting our lovely server gave us two extra tea bags for our room, how lovely was that, so thoughtful and going that extra mile in customer service goes a long way. We must also commend the excellent housekeeping, spotlessly clean rooms. Thank you all.
We would stay again purely from our experience from the team. Slight suggestion, if you are bringing your dog with you telephone ahead and let them know (before you book) as dog friendly rooms are quite limited!

Easy walking around and looking at the stunning architecture and scenery. Lots of places for coffee and brunch. Nice to still have a department store - so many towns how lost these and there are many independent shops. Walking across the common on a brisk sunny morning was lovely.

I used to live in TW years ago when there wasnt as much traffic! Its a town of two halves, top end is more mainstream shops and food outlets. Pantiles down the bottom end is more quirky, well worth a visit.

This historic Regency spa town should be on everyone's...
This historic Regency spa town should be on everyone's tourism list for the south-east of England. Apart from the famous chalybeate spring, in the quaint Pantiles - the very foundation ('source') of the town, back in 1606 - there are numerous gardens and parks to explore.
Tunbridge Wells is also renowned for its architecture, featuring numerous Regency villas and terraces, most built by Decimus Burton. For example, there is Calverley Park. But, there is also the Pantiles, many buildings dating back to the 17th century and the town's foundation.
More importantly, there is the enormous 'Common,' probably the most illustrious of its kind in England. An enormous, rough, virgin wilderness of more than 900 acres right beside the town centre, peppered with many sandstone 'outcrops.'
As for transport, the town is small enough to travel everywhere by foot. For further afield, there is an excellent railway service to London, and the coast at Hastings.

Highly recommended place to stay in Tunbridge wells, gorgeous setting hidden away in the Woodlands surrounded by stunning rocks gardens in the forest. Quirky decor in the spacious hotel rooms, the cove in the bar is a must. Breakfast was amazing too. Attentive staff and so polite.
