Breakfast was more than adequate. Cook was more than willing to make reasonable changes to what we liked. Room was big and Wi-Fi and TV were good. Bathroom was huge and has been modernized. Enough electrical outlets in room for all of todays modern gadgets and rechargers. Staff were super friendly and more than ready to help in any way possible. Parking was directly across street. There was a mini market just up the street for snacks and drinks. Great location for visiting distilleries in Speyside and within a 20 minute drive to some really good restaurants.

The staff were quite helpful, and the facilities were on point. The Inn, restaurant, and The Whiskey Bar were all well run and the food and drink fantastic. . . Especially the bartender in the whiskey bar. He has forgotten more about whiskey than we will ever know.
To edit: The mile long tree lined High Street has an attractive square and village green and located right in the center of the Village is the Aberlour Hotel.

Everyone with whom we dealt from the time we booked our stay until we left was very responsive and gracious. Jody and Scott along with the staff did an excellent job of seeing to our every need. Scott and Jody also own one of the local whisky shops making Scott, in particular, a wonderful resource for orienting us to the area and helping us to fully appreciate the "whisky leg" of our Scottish adventure. We could not have been more satisfied with our two days in Craigellachie, a wonderful little town with friendly residents. We hope to be back someday.

Charming building, beautifully maintained. Great location in Speyside, right next to the river, close to many distilleries. The interior is meticulously maintained, clean, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was incredible. We cannot say enough about how we enjoyed everything.
Rothes is a very quiet town. There are no other restaurants in town. However the hotel restaurant is excellent. There is nothing to do in the town itself, but it is located in the heart of the scotch trail with many distilleries. Too many to visit in fact.

Ok for a walking base. No eating facilities in village due to COVID restrictions. Very busy thoroughfare for distilleries so no good for peace and quiet. Free parking good. With COVID everything closed even whisky bars in the pubs.
