I liked the pool and gym.
I liked the pool and gym. But the usage time could have opened a little later. You really need a car if you want to get around but plenty of parking space. The car park could have more lights as at night its quite dark especially if you're walking alone. The hotel was very nice. The breakfast staff were amazing and very friendly.

Pleasant and helpful staff, nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Plenty of parking and nice seating in the lounge area. Food on offer was varied and very nice. Coffee and food served in the lounge as well as the restaurant. Tea and coffee facilities in our room topped up each day. A popular hotel and it was easy to see why, really good staff. Rotherham is where we come to visit family so we didn't do the tourist bit.

Staff were more than helpful and nothing was an issue to any of them, breakfast was superb for the cost of 12 pounds each, room was comfortable as was the large bed, shower and wash facilities are excellent with powerful shower and hot water constantly, hotel was quiet at night and was very comfortable to stay at overall, good access off M1 leading to both North and south destinations, will definitely be staying here again.

Small English town, nearby Sheffield.
Small English town, nearby Sheffield. It's a good place to visit if you wish to see how real people in England live. It's nothing like the big cities. However it's not a place I would stay for more than 1 night...Few hours stop at most.

I stayed in the centre.
I stayed in the centre. Driving in the outer areas had nice three bedroom semi-detached houses type properties. In the centre more terraced houses.
Lots of shops, quite a lot of retail park area in the centre.
An Aldi next to an Asda, a large Tesco Extra a mile away. A McDonald's restaurant with drive through, a Burger King, a bridge where underneath you see River Don with swans if you are fortunate.
Some parts a bit dull, few less nice houses amongst some terraced houses.
A nice mosque in the central area.
Petrol seems a lot cheaper in central areas where they compete with supermarkets than outer areas like Rawmarsh where they have less competition.
Town has population of around 260,000.

The location suited us. Parking on site is good. All common areas regularly cleaned so pretty happy to stay at this hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. Second time stayed here while visiting family, so simply only slept here. We paid small price above basic for a slightly better room than my 1st visit.
It was just off the motorway in a very pleasant area just a few miles from Sheffield. The hotel is a little sparce, the staff are extremely helpful.
The room lacked bedside tables, the bathroom was very clean, hairdryer has to be asked for. We didn't need breakfast but not certain it is available.
Good room with very comfortable bed. Furniture is adequate for needs. Bathroom spacious and clean. At least they provide kettle, tea bags, coffee, milk (plural!) and such, unlike many other well known hotel chains.
Breakfast was good value. Would stay again if in area.
Nice place not far from trains, trams, town centre shops etc.
Great breakfast .Not sure it is a boutique or luxury hotel from what I saw. It was pleasant with a comfortable bed though and clean.
Free parking. Hotel is close to town, friendly staff, clean spacious room and restaurant/bar next to hotel meals excellent value for money and delicious.
