Port Erin is a beautiful seaside town.

Port Erin is a beautiful seaside town. The beach is wonderful and the views out over the bay are great. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes. Be prepared for an uphill walk from the beach if you are on foot. The railway station is right in the heart of the town and the Railway Museum is well woth a visit as is the Whistlestop Cafe (lovely Manx broth).

Port Erin is in a beautiful secluded cove, with a great sandy beach, nice coastal walks, and a good selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. You can take the steam train to the capital, or there is a good bus service. We had a very pleasant evening boat ride as well. Would definitely stay there again.

    Lovely bay and beach.

Lovely bay and beach. Several places to eat out, including the 'must have' fish and chip shop at a seaside location. Very easy to get around most parts of the island by public transport. Supermarket and a variety of other shops. Great ice creams.

Port Erin is a small seaside town with good pubs/ restaurants and a lot of activity centred around the beach. The Foraging Vintners bar on the beach is very popular and does good coffee during the day. There is a steam railway which goes through beautiful countryside and coastal scenery all the way to the Island’s capital Douglas.
