We stayed at this property for a business trip. The hosts were very quick to respond and easy to communicate with. I have been told by my colleagues; They received a warm welcome on arrival. The property was spick and span with lovely furniture and comfortable beds.
They didn't have the opportunity to use the hot tub, but did mention the outside area was very pretty at night and overall, it seems the property is cosy and well looked after.

Levisham is a quintessential Yorkshire village hidden away from passing traffic. It is served by a station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, but some distance away down a steep single-track road. Lots of lovely walks are at your doorstep from Levisham. Enjoy blackbirds singing and swallows swooping for their dinner!

The property neede a good clean .
The property neede a good clean . Cobwebs dirty skirting boards Toilet brush I won’t even go there!! One of limited saucepans was unusable ( inside was burnt black) Towels was so thin they didn’t dry you ( would have been better to ask visitors to bring their own)
We visited Beckhouse and stayed in several diffemt cottages and on two occasions hired with friends the farmhouse all of those visits were fantastic so hence the disappointment on this occasion. Needless to say we won’t be going back again

We stayed in Thornton Le Dale a couple of miles outside. This location is ideal in that it is within easy reach of most local attractions and also the coast. Plenty of pubs, cafes and independent shops.

Nice little market town with plenty of places to eat in the evenings, even in the winter. It is a good centre for visiting other places nearby and it has the main attraction of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Clean tidy and relaxing.
Clean tidy and relaxing. The birds at the pond were lovely to see. Even saw a kingfisher. Hot tub was very nice and they even turned up the temperature to meet our preference. The hot tub was checked and attended to promptly ever day of our stay. I know Pickering very well as my daughters lives there. We used the site as a place to relax and be with my family after loosing my brother few weeks before. My husband had also retired that weekend so we wanted to be close to our family. All our needs were met but could have done with few more cooking dishes and trays as we did not want to go out to eat. Would recommend the site to others.

Such a beautiful part of the country.
Such a beautiful part of the country. The town itself is great just to have a good walk around. But you are close to other locations eg. Whitby. To really enjoy in my opinion one of the best locations in England. Excellent for walkers, photography ect
Excellent hotel perfectly located in the center of Pickering and just a few minutes walk from the NYMR steam train experience. Jill, the owner/hostess, or host for the 'woke' brigade was brilliant. Nothing too much trouble and interested in where you were going and how your day had been. The young bar staff were also excellent and the food delicious.
The hotel is surrounded by rolling hills and idyllic views, the staff were very welcoming and accomodating even though our booking didn't show up on their system upon arrival and although we hadn't made a reservation for food, the chef offered to make us anything we liked, would definitely visit again
Brilliant location within Pickering - no need to use the car for shops or pub etc and the many attractions in Pickering
So clean and fresh - hot tub was immaculate
Great hosts and easy to contact
Private car parking was perfect, right by the property
Lovely people couldn't be more welcoming. The hotel was clean and quiet and perfectly placed for a walk around pickering. Breakfast was lovely and the room facilities were great.
