It was very clean, the rooms were lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed for two nights as we had a wedding at Hyde House, and we had breakfast lunch and dinner during our stay. All the food we had was delicious. We had a superior room, which was spacious yet cosy. It was immaculately clean and lovely decor.

Nice town.
Nice town. Easy to get to other places in the North Cotswolds from here. Plenty of buses stopping across the road & the Main British Rail Station close by is on a major route for places like London & Bath I had a car so could easily get to the places I wanted to visit: e.g. Blockley (Father Brown location), lots of other pretty villages, Sezincote Manor House, Sudeley Castle, Heritage Railway Centre.

Moreton is a traditional Cotswold market town, with most of its shops, restaurants and pubs clustered in pretty honey coloured stone buildings on both sides of the high street. There's a nice church and churchyard, and lots of pretty cottages with flower-filled gardens (in Summer) on some of the side streets too. Shops are of the independent kind, small, with opening hours usually 10am-4-5pm. There's a Tesco Express for essentials, a Cheese Shop and Wine shop, and a few antique shops. There are a good few pubs serving real ale and most doing food, plus a couple of Italian restaurants, a Thai and an Indian. A good stop on the Fosse Way. There's a petrol station just metres South of the town. There's free car parking on the High Street, and public toilets (payable) too.

A Cotswold market town, it holds the train station to London, Oxford, Stratford-Upon-Avon and many other destinations. It's also a hub for bus transportation through the Cotswold's many villages and towns. Restaurants abound, including "Bellini," as good an Italian restaurant as one could find anywhere. We dined there 4 nights for the vibe, the good wine, and great pasta and risotto it offers. Get a room at the local inn or some guest house and you don't need a car to get around.
