We stayed one night and enjoyed the atmosphere very much. Included in the price we had a delicious and very rich breakfast. The location is strategic to visit the other villages of the cotswolds and to reach London. The staff were very friendly and in the evening we had a drink in the pub on the premises. We felt part of the community, an experience to be repeated!

We stayed at the White Hart Royal [as did Charles 1st, although, unlike us, he failed to pay his bill], which was not only a friendly, clean, and comfortable hotel but good value for money and a very good place to eat - we had breakfast and dinner there. The small town is beautiful, with a High Street full of houses built of mellow Cotswolds stone, and there is much free parking. We were only there overnight, but found time to visit the market, the numerous antique shops and charity shops, and the Cotswolds distillery near Stourton which is some twenty minutes away by car. The town is well positioned for a holiday in the Cotswolds and we aim to return.

Its a great place.
Its a great place. Great walks to exercise dogs even in the dark. The Swan doesn't served food on a Sunday evening but soon pointed me in the right direction to six places to eat at. I ate at the Aylesbury where well behaved dogs were welcomed. There were at least six other dogs in there at the time.

The town is continuing to expand, with many more lovely tea rooms and catering establishments to choice from without spoiling the high street.
The town is always spotless and streets well maintained.
Christmas trees and lighting 🎄 are beautiful and make the town look magical at night.
We stayed again at the lovely Redesdale Hotel, lovely rooms, cosy, very clean, food delicious and service excellent.
We also enjoyed dinner at the White Hart Royal Hotel and on both occasions the food and service was impeccable.

Walnut Cottage is a stunning, luxury, cosy cottage centrally located in Moreton in Marsh.
We loved the log fire, lovely decor, furnishings, comfy beds and courtyard garden. Perfect for a couple or small family - note the staircase is steep and narrow.
A lovely old traditional Cotswold building on the iconic main street of Moreton in Marsh. Excellent lunch on the day of arrival, also an excellent breakfast on the final day, the food was exceptionally praiseworthy.
It’s a 7-9 minute walk from the Moreton-in-Marsh station so you don’t need to ride a bus or taxi. It’s a quaint hotel with a nice garden. The food is also good
