The neighbourhood, lake, and surrounding views were stunning. After a long drive, I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the swimming pool on the night of our arrival. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and satisfying. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious.
Booking.Com's confusing booking scheme. I was asked to pay by card online, which I did and had a receipt. It even said any extra's will have to be paid to the Masons Arms before leaving.
When we came to leave I had to pay for the stay, as Booking.Com hadn't paid them. I now have to wait for a statement to see if I have paid twice, and claim one back if so!
