Perfectly located cottage for exploring Market Weighton and the surrounding area. The cottage is well presented, has everything you need for a holiday and we had a restful time there and a quiet, good night's sleep. Everything has been thought of to give you the perfect break. Great communication too from the host.

Excellent street markets.
Beautifully decorated street for Christmas.

History of the town is very interesting.
History of the town is very interesting. Winston Churchill stayed at the Londesborough.
Giant Bradley recently featured in Barnum The Greatest Showman. He was 7ft 9 inches and also knew Gentleman Jack and were friends. You can see Giant Bradley’s house behind his statue.
Granville’s store just like the one that featured on tv with the late Ronnie Corbett is also a must to visit. They even wear the old style outfits from the 1950s. You can almost by anything in there.
Jacks Emporium is also an amazing shop with so many different types of curios you can purchase at brilliant prices.
Lots of places to eat with many diverse options, eat in out or deliver. Many allow dogs in and Cafe on the Wold even brings a jar of dog treats to your table which they can snack on whilst you eat your food.
Truly wonderful town.
