We had a really lovely stay as a ‘trail run’ before booking them for wedding guests. The pods are immaculate and spacious with everything you could possibly need. The breakfast banquet was huge and incredible value for money. The owners are so accommodating and welcoming, would recommend to anyone looking for a night or two away!

A nice little market town with a good selection of shops and services, a good base for exploring the often overlooked East Riding of Yorkshire.
I was visiting family so can't really comment on touristy stuff.

Historical, all shops you would require.
Historical, all shops you would require. Huge Tesco, lots of quirky shops. Granville’s which is just like the one in the tv series. Hair dressers, barbers. Cafes and restaurants. Takeaways, bakeries. Hotels. Charity shops.
Excellent street markets.
Beautifully decorated street for Christmas.
Statue of Giant Bradley with all plaques telling of his history.
Very good bus service to York, Beverley and all the local towns.
Not too far from Thd Wolds for walking.
Lovely friendly town.
Love staying there.
We had breakfast at The Cafe on The Wold, staff were very welcoming snd even brought across a mason jar of dog treats. We also ate at Saints and Sinners which also provide fresh cooked food which was amazing, lovely cakes too. Amazing staff nothing is too much trouble.
I think everyone who live and work in Market Weighton are just wonderful and make your stay fantastic.

History of the town is very interesting.
History of the town is very interesting. Winston Churchill stayed at the Londesborough.
Giant Bradley recently featured in Barnum The Greatest Showman. He was 7ft 9 inches and also knew Gentleman Jack and were friends. You can see Giant Bradley’s house behind his statue.
Granville’s store just like the one that featured on tv with the late Ronnie Corbett is also a must to visit. They even wear the old style outfits from the 1950s. You can almost by anything in there.
Jacks Emporium is also an amazing shop with so many different types of curios you can purchase at brilliant prices.
Lots of places to eat with many diverse options, eat in out or deliver. Many allow dogs in and Cafe on the Wold even brings a jar of dog treats to your table which they can snack on whilst you eat your food.
Truly wonderful town.
