Excellent central location with a car park accessible to small cars. Despite the bar/dining area being very busy (Friday before Christmas) the bar service was excellent.

Everything!!!!! It was cozy, comfortable and we really slept well. The staff was/is so cordial and helpful. There were a lot of breakfast selections and we really enjoyed a good breakfast. We spent a short while in Pub and it was sooo nice and comfortable...and warm. The beer selection was good and the evening was a much needed relax and relaxation moment. Our stay was too short because there is a lot to see in the area so we really want to come back. Again it was a pleasant stay with and exceptional staff.

It has some excellent shops and some fantastic places to eat. The beer at the Whole Hog was great and the food really good, the staff are very friendly and attentive.
It has a great small market on a Friday.
The Abbey and museum are well worth a visit and the people are so friendly and helpful.
It was a great location to travel from to discover the surrounding areas.

Pretty town and the Abbey is wonderful.
Pretty town and the Abbey is wonderful. Everyone we met in shops, cafes and the street etc. were delightful and very friendly - and obviously proud of their town and all praised the community spirit. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere - and they should be proud. (Quite difficult to buy a Guardian newspaper though!)
Only one night stay so never really found the best eateries - although the 'taster' menu near the Abbey looked wonderful!

Stunning architecture and beautiful sandstone.
Stunning architecture and beautiful sandstone.
All the loveliness of the cotswolds without the crowds.
VERY interesting historically and lots of information at the tourist office.
It is very rewarding to walk around both the town and the adjacent countryside. The town is full of exciting little passageways and tantalising views and the river walks have much wildlife to enjoy.
And if you WANT to tear yourself away it's within easy driving distance of many other fascinating places.

Malmesbury is beautiful but we didn’t really see enough of it. We visited to attend the Countryfile event at Charlton Park (it was diabolical, if you’re wondering). Our interest in Malmesbury has been sufficiently stimulated that we would definitely return and stay in the same Hotel. Want to see more of this charming part of the world.

The comfortable bed, in-room kettle, coffee options, shortbread, slippers, robe, Bramley bath essentials, bedside guide to Malmesbury, very chic room, lovely pockets of indoor and outdoor lounge areas, the friendliest front of house team and incredible food at the restaurant — there's nothing to fault with this hotel!
Great space, well designed, clean.
Lovely lively popular pub with a fantastic atmosphere and lovely friendly staff
Great location in the heart of Malmesbury and incredible view from the tables at the end of the car park
Lovely and spacious, very comfortable and fantastic staff. Located next to hotel and they can provide full cooked breakfast which we ate in the cottage. Has own car park space right outside which is great.
Very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Feels almost like a brand new apartment.
Efficient and friendly communication with hosts.
