Nice peaceful location and had a room over looking the lake. The balcony was a nice touch too, although we didn’t sit out on it as it was February and cold.

Comfortable, warm, and beautifully lit. The wine was excellent, the food was very good. The bed and pillows were first class.

Beafutiful location for a day trip.
Beafutiful location for a day trip. There are many footpaths and amazing views all around. Definetley a place to visit more than once!
Most of the way is easly accessible, but there are tricky moments, even on the more popular trails - so be careful!
I arrived by bus, which honsetly was not the most comfortable, but I still made it :) I got on the trails relativley early and for quite a while didn't meet a lot of people, but there were a lot of tourists in the early afternoon.

Authentic Dales village, ideal for walkers, with or without dogs, with two great pubs for hospitality and accommodation.
A beautiful, picturesque setting, complete with flowing stream running through it.
Busy and congested in high season and at weekends due to it's close proximity to Malham Cove. Village quiet in evening.
Parking available for pub/inn clients and guests but can be challenging for day visitors when busy.

Enjoyed the pubs, shop, and tea room; plus the local walks. Unfortunately like much of England currently the walks suffered from the amount of litter particularly the amount of dog poo and full dog poo bags discarded in all sorts of places such as dry stone walls

Very friendly staff all the time we were there , nothing was too much trouble. Our dog was included all of our stay, and was given sausage for breakfast. The setting of the Lister Arms is amazing! Set in the centre of beautiful Malham, walking to every one of it's amazing sights was possible, with a roaring fire in the dog friendly bar area to look forward to with a pint afterwards
The location was on Cove Road very close to the Pennine Way and Malham Cove. Really quiet, on the edge of Malham village, with a private parking space. I met the property owners, who live next door, and they reassured me that I could ask about the property or area. Beautiful views from the property and a garden to sit in. Everything was comfortable and with thoughtful decor.
Stayed here 3 times with the family. It's in an ideal location and cheap and cheerful. There's a kitchen to make your own food or pubs to eat out. I would definitely recommend a visit to Malham and the youth hostel.
Spent a night at Beck Hall at the beginning of October with our dog and loved it. Quirky hotel with friendly staff and great restaurant. Location was perfect for lovely walks around Malham, would love to go back.
