Wonderful big English breakfast served with a smile and interest.
Loved the location and personal attention to preferences.
The building has thick walls and so internet was not possible in the rooms. But internet is possible in the pub and entrance lounge/outside seating at front door.
Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated St Vincent Guest House offers accommodations with a garden and free Wifi.

Maria and Clive have put a lot of effort into the property over the last years to bring it all together beautifully
Their attention to their guests is unsurpassed. In addition to their fabulous - and huge - breakfasts, they have recently started doing evening meals - head & shoulders above any other local eatery.

The location was superb. Andrew was a great host and we felt that we were treated like royalty, the best breakfast we have ever had. We cannot recommend highly enough.

The room was well decorated and well furnished, with two lovely chairs in the bay window overlooking the sea. Beds were comfortable, bathroom was lovely and spacious.
Breakfast offered a lot of choice and the foot was great. The couple who run the place were also lovely.
There is a sister hotel just 100m down the road where you can also order an evening meal, which gave us generous portions. I also love the honesty bar. It felt very homely and more like an apartment as we also had use of the guest lounge as well. Would thoroughly recommend.

The whole area is beautiful with many coastal and inland walks. Some excellent eating places but The Oak Room *Spanish tapas) was excellent and highly recommended.
Area seemed very dog friendly with considerate owners.

The trip there was an adventure! Great idea to set off earlier in the day from Cardiff than I did lol - was chasing the sun on roads I'd never driven on before, and didn't have time to stop and visit the many interesting little spots along the way.
Walking around Lynton was an absolute pleasure - gorgeous shops and eateries to visit, beautiful architecture, and such history! I didn't get to the museum though, but that means I have something new to visit next time I head there.
The drive to Alwington and back was beautiful as well - there really are a lot of places nearby that makes Lynton the perfect spot to stay.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Rebecca who was warn , cheerful and friendly we were made to feel welcome immediately.
The hotel is tastefully decorated with fine furnishings. Our room was superb and with a sea view.
Prior to our arrival we had already had a three course lunch so unfortunately, we had no room to dine in the evening. Our breakfast was amazing and upon our check out we were able to speak to Steve. He was pleased with our comments and we ended up chatting about all sorts of things, that’s what we call friendly.
We will definitely be going back at some stage and would highly recommend the North Cliff Hotel

Good location for the many walks near by.
Good location for the many walks near by. Not many places to eat in the evening if you didn't want to drive any where. Lack of toilets for public use. You need to be quite fit to get the best out of Lynton as it is very hilly. People are friendly which was very good. I would recommend the Crown Hotel for food and good service.
We stayed at Rockvale house for 2 nights. On our arrival, Ness and Phil made us feel so welcome. Our room was lovely and clean and had everything available that we needed for our stay.
The breakfast options were great, were cooked perfectly and served quickly by Ness and Phil.
The location was great, with both shops and restaurants very close. We would highly recommend Rockvale House whilst visiting Lynton and Lynmouth, and we look forward to going back. Thank you! 🙂⭐️
This is the second time I have stayed at St. Vincent Guest House, and will probably be my place of choice for future stays in North Devon. Bed was great, enough to convince me to buy a memory foam mattress for my own bed at home! Hosts are great, as are their pets! Lynton is a great place to stay, calm and relaxed and worth returning to.
In the heart of Lynton, quality accommodation in a superb location for touring the North Devon Coast and the Exmoor National Park. Friendly helpful staff in a comfortable hotel. Especially enjoyed the jazz night.
The location was perfect for our walking trips. Quiet and tranquil. The room and breakfast were excellent! The host was very helpful and told us about the ongoing activities and events in Lynton and Lynmouth.
Great location for Lynton and Lynmouth, Michelle met us on arrival and the cream tea left in the fridge was a real treat! The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean,
