Stunning location. Easy access on foot to everywhere we wanted to go , so didn't use the car at all.
Dark sky reserve and it was clear so night sky was spectacular.
Plenty of places to eat and our dog loved multiple pet shops whilst I loved the art galleries /shops . Very very dog friendly village and they can go in virtually all places .

We absolutely loved our stay at North Walk House. Our room was comfortable and generously sized. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Above all though, the view and location in general is pretty much unbeatable. We would be very happy to stay again.

Lynton is a lovely town connected to Lynmouth by a famous funicular. Scenery is amazing and the town has everything you need including some very good restaurants - the Vanilla Pod in town was particularly amazing. Good walking country and breathtaking views of sea and moorland. Some nice indoor activities too - lovely house and mill in Dunster for example.

Lynton is a lovely quiet peaceful village easy on the eye.
Strangely for a holiday resort with lots of self catering accommodation the vast majority of its cafes didn’t open until 10.00a.m. We also noticed that proprietors of these establishments didn’t seem too welcoming. We got the impression we were something of a nuisance rather than embraced as customers.

Fantastic views and centralised amenities.
Fantastic views and centralised amenities. Convenient and good value car parking.
Disappointed that there are only two local pubs neither of which were open at lunchtimes!
I would recommend Lynmouth as a day visit along with Lynmouth. There is very little to warrant a longer stay.

The whole area is beautiful with many coastal and inland walks. Some excellent eating places but The Oak Room *Spanish tapas) was excellent and highly recommended.
Area seemed very dog friendly with considerate owners.
The welcome and service was very friendly, and breakfast was excellent. Whilst the location was down a very narrow road and a little away from things, it was a lovely location by the river and good base for going any direction in North Devon
Location ideal for access to Lynton and Lynmouth.
Fabulous coastal and countryside walking and an easily accessible safe beach.
Very comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Very friendly hosts.
Clean, bright and beautiful view over the sea. Perfect for walking the South West Coast Path or exploring Exmoor and North Devon. Great breakfast.
Really friendly owners.
