I havent visited for a while and the town has changed beyond recognition and not in a good way. The tatty areas are still tatty and a lot of new, soulless development has been plonked into the town. The new road system is incomprehensible. Any good things to look at are hard to find. I never want to go back! Even the Great Central Railway is hidden in a grimy back street, with no parking. Go to the Quorn station instead - lots of parking and 2 cafes.

The apartment was awful, dirty, the shower didn’t work, brown across the ceiling, food up the walls and the toilet must have been leaking as urine and water was coming through the toilet when you stood on the floor boards.

Typical student town, with many young people in evidence.
Typical student town, with many young people in evidence. Safe, friendly feel to the town, even in the evening at the weekend. Lots of variety in the restaurants and cafés, good shopping with some very good independent shops, as well as the usual chains.

Staff very friendly, everywhere was clean, room was perfect for my and my son needs, breakfast was fab, location perfect for the university, loads of parking, nothing not to like, if my son chooses Loughborough uni this will be my choice when visiting him.
All the staff were very friendly. Room was small but very comfortable. Dining in the restaurant was a pleasure, excellent food. Located close to Loughborough town centre, in the most historic part.
Great location close to Loughborough shops, college and university. Really nice in the main hotel. Polite staff. If you like beer moonface brewery is a short walk away. Good value for money
