Location is great. Although the room wasn’t nice. We were lead down stairs into the basement and they had made 2 rooms there. From about /6am everyone was walking around an as we were below it and the stairs it’s sounded like a stomped. Although the bed was comfortable. It was advertised as a double but was 2 singles so had to put them together.

Victorian Resort with a Welsh Twist
The most popular Wales seaside resort, Llandudno covers a peninsula with 2 sandy coastlines. The North Shore’s wide Victorian promenade is lined with period buildings which now house seafront hotels and guest houses. The beach itself stretches all the way between the Little Orme and Great Orme headlands, passing an outdoor swimming pool.
A historic tram climbs to the peak of Great Orme, where Bronze Age copper mines can be visited. The top is also reachable by cable car from Happy Valley, a recreation area with gardens and an artificial ski slope.
A road runs around the base of the headland passing the historic Grand Hotel, a property available on Booking.com and overlooking the Grade II-listed pier – the longest in Wales. The West Shore is much less developed and the Maesdu Golf Course forms most of its shoreline.
Of course, Llandudno has its fair share of traditional seaside pursuits such as donkey rides and fish and chip shops.
The town also has a modern retail park near the train station and Venue Cymru event centre, and wrought-iron canopies shade smaller shops along Mostyn Avenue, Broadway and Street. The latter - Mostyn Street - is effectively the high street and becomes brightly decorated during the Victorian carnival in May.

A great town with huge character and excellent shops, that doesn't have any appearance of poverty and deprivation found in most UK large towns! Superb architecture on seafront. Excellent large stores and good pubs and restaurants. Impossible not to enjoy a visit to Llandudno. Get there soon and be very surprised. A gem by the sea!

Llandudno is a lovely town with the best of both retail therapy, the promenade and lovely beach on the North side. The great Ome is well worth a visit with amazing scenic views over to Anglesey and on a good day the Lake District, so peaceful. Llandudno is in a good location for exploring the areas around it too and has a railway link if you don’t fancy taking the car. Would highly recommend.

I always enjoy going to Llandudno- I often go for short breaks in the winter and then longer in the Summer. It is a very friendly place with lots to do- excellent shopping facilities, and two very different mountains to explore. The Imperial is a top hotel with amazing views, so even if you go for a winter break, you can relax in comfort. The Imperial restaurant has lots of choice and there is always local seafood on the menu. There are many pleasant coffee shops. Lots of free parking around Llandudno and in the current financial climate, it is a relatively cheap place to stay.

Llandudno is a good bay town and can be made as center to roam around Northern Wales. You have good amount of hotels and stores. The scenic beauty of Llandudno is very good & refreshing. As it is a famous tourist spot, the hotels are expensive to stay. I think one can chosse good hotels outside of Llandudno and visit this town.

There were places to walk with relative ease and more challenging ones where , in spite of the very low cloud, there were super views. We enjoyed a good meal at 'Home Cookin''. Walking around the town was interesting and we enjoyed the calm, mid-winter atmosphere.

The Winchmore Hotel is right on the seafront in Llandudno, with a fabulous view of the bay from the sea view rooms, and only a few minutes walk from the town centre, the pier or the local theatre, Venue Cymru. The hotel's staff were, without exception, delightful - friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet and the breakfasts were very good.
The hotel is well located on the Llandudno sea front. The balcony room we had was immaculate and although it wasn’t huge (we knew that when we booked) the space was really well designed. The hotel is genuinely dog friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Wonderful staff too. I would definitely recommend The Belmont!
This hotel is amazing, was shocked it was in the middle,of llandudno bay for the price. Wish we had booked for longer.. The sea view was out of this world. Room was massive for the price. Receptionist was so helpful n understanding. Top it off we had breakfast included. Will be returning with my daughter n grandson
It's an older promenade hotel that has been well maintained. I was pleased, as a single traveller, to be allocated a room with sea view. The room was clean and the water was hot. Situated in a very convenient part of Llandudno. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially the breakfast team.
We know Llandudno quite well so we knew were the Hotel was. We wanted a sea view because we now live in the Midlands far from the sea! I thought that I had booked B &B but had made a mistake with the booking so we paid £10 each per day for the breakfast.
