The breakfast was really good quality and buffet style so you could pick and choose what you wanted. We also enjoyed the brasserie for dinner. Parking is convenient and we liked the location a lot.

A fantastic location in town! It is a slightly outdated pub hotel which we found charming. Rooms above a resturant pub meant most nights you could have dinner or drinks if interested. Not too loud in rooms (was a concern when booking) and generally very family friendly. Staff very kind and ended up getting to know us. Will recommend and stay again. Breakfast was substantial including hot plate plus cereal juices and coffee.

Set in the beautiful countryside near charming Knighton with its variety of pubs, cafes, and restaurants, the property is a lovely, immaculately clean two-story self-catering apartment with two very comfortable bedrooms and a shared bathroom on the lower level, and a wonderful open dining/living/kitchen area upstairs that's extremely comfortable and equipped with all necessary amenities and more. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and amenities (including Netflix). It's also set in the beautiful countryside near charming Knighton with its variety of pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Gail was an extremely communicative and attentive host who was careful to ensure everything was perfect for our stay.

Generally quite like Llandrindod wells, some parts better than others. I especially like the lake area. The Llanerch Inn is a nice pub with good food. Next time I would avoid staying near a pub on a weekend as it was very noisy until 2.30 am at the pub opposite.

I really wanted to write about the Hotel (Hampton Hotel) and the reception I received. I knew I was going to arrive very late: I estimated 11.30, so I phoned forward to apologise. Reception closes at 11.00, but I was told I'd be in Room 6, how to get there and where its key would be. It worked beautifully.
Llandrindod Wells is a neat little town, but I was only there to sleep before going to a dog show at Builth Wells: about seven miles away. The area is hilly with narrow winding roads: very pleasant pasture farming. I'll have to go again, and I will.

The hotel was perfect for my one night stay which was to enable me to attend a disco at the nearby Royal British Legion Club. As I was a lady travelling alone I did not want to drive the hour's journey back home after midnight. The best recommendation I can give is that I have already booked two more night's for the same reason.

The lake is well worth the visit and within the grounds are a cafe and boats for hire as well as a sculpture mid-lake, the Rock Spa Park is worth
a visit for walking and tasting the water.
Whilst there is a train connection it is very sparce, but there are bus services to the coast, Breacon and Hereford.
Good variety of small shops and cafes.

Low price hotel for a short stay. I was in the area to motorcycle, and there is a place to lock up the bike. Excellent for exploring this part of Wales.
The hotel bar is mainly used by the locals but friendly enough. Part of the hotel is used as a Chinese restaurant, and has a popular take away service, so quite a curious mix.
The location was great, near the high street with plenty of places to eat and an Aldi and Tesco nearby. Even a Greggs for breakfast! The apartment was equipped with everything and more and the pint of milk and biscuits were a great find at the end of a long journey.
Good breakfast. Lots of areas to sit and relax. Spacious bedroom. Excellent free parking. Good information about what activities are available at the hotel and surrounding area.
