The staff were very accommodating and friendly,We stayed for 4 nights the start was a bit rocky but the staff smoothed it out making it enjoyable. The lift was a bit dodgy added to the charm.

We stayed at the hotel whilst we were attending my daughters Wedding party there. It was amazingly well orchestrated by the manager and his crew. They were sensitive to our needs and absolutely went the extra mile to deliver an amazing day, guiding our own orchestration of events and keeping our side of the organising team well informed throughout. Our hotel stay was excellent. Large neat rooms, clean comfortable and quiet. A very good breakfast was provided at a very fair cost, Lazaat also accommodated my request for an extra night's stay at the hotel at a great price and with a minimum of fuss.
Every member of staff I engaged with, be it reception, dining room, bar staff, or hygiene services was kind, professional and polite.

The hotel is in the countryside away from the village. The local pub the Black horse is only open from 5.30 pm between Thursday to Sunday and was fully booked for food so we went to the Dog and Duck farther down the road which was excellent.
The villages in the area are very rural and pretty places with good access for Hull and Beverley
