Great small vibrant Scottish seaside town with good selection of shops, bars with live music and restaurants. Good Rail and ferry services for visits to other surrounding areas and west coast Islands. We hopped on the ferry to Isle of Cumbrae (Largs ferry port) and on a previous visit to Bute and Rothesay(Wemyss Bay ferry port) , and train to Glasgow from Largs station

It is a pleasant little town with a range of shops and a supermarket. There are excellent walks and ferries to the islands. It is within easy range of Glasgow and other places like Ayr and Kilmarnock which we visited. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Nice little town and ferry service back and forth to Great Cumbrae is interesting to watch. As with many towns, there are lots of cafes, charity shops and the rest of the shops are varied. We enjoyed being near enough to walk down to the sea each day even when it was raining. The Waverley paddle steamer came round one day to do a trip which again was very interesting to see.

Largs is a nice town with plenty of good eating places - Nardinis, Tony Macaroni, Allegria (Italian), Kohinoor(Indian), Blue Lagoon (fish & chips) and for breakfast/lunch -Nardinis at the Moorings, Riviera. Largs is a good base to visit other places with ferry to Cumbrae, trains and buses to get easily to Glasgow, Troon, Ardrossan, Wemyss Bay (ferry to Rothesay), Gourock (another ferry terminal). McCaskie's Butchers at Wemyss Bay has been rated best butcher in the UK and it has a cafe. We are all adults so can't comment on facilities for young children.

Great location, lovely efficient space, comfortable, quiet, and hidden away. This was my camp during my stay in Largs for the Gathering, a 2 day Judo workshop by JudoScotland. The house had everything I needed, it was quite close to the train station and the national sports centre. I think it was the calming effect I got from the house that I loved the most. It also gave a good view of the Church of Scotland clock tower.
The Apartment was very well equipped with everything that you need,Washing Machine ,Dishwasher, Cooker ect.It was very clean and tidy. The Location was ideal as it was just on the outskirts of Largs with Transport links or if you like walking it's about 20 Minutes. It also has a Balcony with nice views .
Excellent!!
Location within easy reach of Largs. Bus every 15 minutes during the day.
Because of the stay at the Willowbank Hotel, I was able to visit various places of interest.
The hotel accommodation was very comfortable and it was reasonably quiet and pleasant.
It was a very good holiday.
Thanks.
