The design of the architecture is modernized- two modern spacious lifts are available; no more need to lift stuff up the scale. Rooms are new, spacious, warm, and just perfect. location is great. Shops, especially those you would frequent need, are next door. Situated in the heart of the city center, you will need a minute of walking. Staff are always smiling and helpful. There is a safety strategy outside. Cards are used for all purposes. This hotel is one of the perfect ones I’ve seen in my entire life.

Rooms are good size, new, clean and have a fun decor. Nice little touches with chocolate, Nespresso, etc. There are two nice walks from the hotel, one to the Castle and one along the river. Town is walkable. Designated parking was nice. Restaurant had some of the best food we had in England.

It was lively to be back in lancaster after 3 years.
It was lively to be back in lancaster after 3 years. Caught up with a friend and enjoyed walking around the vibrant city. Went to gallico Lounge for food which was wonderful. Admired the castle and had a thoroughly lovely time. Nice to see a good variety of shops open. Will visit again.

We were visiting just to see a show in the evening.
We were visiting just to see a show in the evening. We did explore some of the shopping area near to the hotel. Pretty much the same as many city/town high streets. The people of Lancaster we met were so friendly 😃. The morning we left we visited Williamson Park. A delightful place for all ages. Well worth a visit. We have previously visited the castle and prison, another good experience. The Lancaster Grand Theatre is a gem of place with lovely friendly staff. In fact we found Lancastrians very friendly indeed 😃😃😃

Lancaster is a great place for a short trip.
Lancaster is a great place for a short trip. I think it's a bit overlooked and underrated, but there's so much gorgeous architecture, buildings, restaurants, cinemas and the bus service is a great way to get around.
We had cocktails at a little deli - Stonewell Spring - before dinner. It was very lovely indeed, with such friendly staff. We kind of wished we hadn't booked dinner elsewhere, as the atmosphere was buzzing. It was cool walking around in the evening, felt super safe and lively.
Go to Lancaster!

I was charged twice by Booking.Com and the property.
I was charged twice by Booking.Com and the property. The property charged without taking my prior approval. The reception staff are not properly trained. I am awaiting for the refund of excess charged.

It's a very small city with a lot to say for itself.
It's a very small city with a lot to say for itself. Interesting attractions, loads of history (castle, priory, Roman remains etc). We found several great pubs and everywhere we ate was great. Prices and styles vary over quite a small area, so take your pick. If you're a pub fan, the walk to the riverside and the George & Dragon is worth the effort!

This is a lovely hotel we had a hospital visit and it is walking distance to the hospital it is so close to shops in Lancaster great location the hotel was clean staff were friendly and very helpful food was excellent room had the best bathroom and lots of great extras like a real coffee machine and very cute flask for fresh milk just made a stressful hospital procedure just so better than it could have been. We will be going again in better circumstances !!! Food was also fantastic !!
The breakfast was succulent and you can ask whatever you like. Of course it was a menu breakfast, however you can merely ask whatever you want. My son wants to go to Lancaster University and we went for a visit to the University.
We stay at Stork hotel and feel at home. Away from Mauritius and feeling at home is a good feeling.
Will be back in September and every six months.

Excellent, comfortable room with plenty of space and basically everything one needs. The person welcoming us was very helpful and friendly. We had some trouble finding parking space, but luckily the £5 a night on site parking space was made available to us. The room was clean and kept clean. The hotel was close to pretty much everything. Lancaster isn't that big, is it.
Great central location, and excellent value for money. Great that there's a shared kitchen for self-catering. It's a budget accommodation, and a reasonable alternative to hotels in the city (since the Travelodge/Ibis closed to paying customers to house refugees, there really isn't a basic, cheap, safe. clean option in the city centre.
Lancaster House Hotel is a very comfortable, unpretentious hotel. It’s a very cosy and feels very relaxed. I had a huge room, with a large bathroom (with bath & shower), exceptionally comfortable bed and lovely views. It was quiet and calm - both appreciated after a very tiring day at work.
