Very cosy place. We loved it so much we extended another night. We had an upstairs room in the garden room area, very warm, lovely selection of continental breakfast. Really handy location to get to all the sites throughout Isle of Sky. It does say self check in so thats a choice when checking in. Had issues with c/c via booking.com and the staff were helpful over the phone with another option to pay prior to checking in.

The Cabins - House of Juniper, hotel in Kinloch

The Cabins - House of Juniper, a property with a bar, is set in Broadford, 14 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, 27 km from Eilean Donan Castle, as well as 26 km from Museum of the Isles.

The cabins are set in a stunning location within walking distance of the coastline. The restaurant on site serves amazing food in a beautiful converted church. All staff were very attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that it was the best stay possible. Our dog also loved the location and it was fabulous to be able to have him in the cabin with us during our stay.

The location was stunning and whether you are active, (hiking, cycling, wild swimming, kayaking,...) this was a great luxurious base to return to. The food was of a very high quality with excellent, cod, scallop and beef cheek dishes all sampled. The wine list was good and extensive though pricey. I would also recommend a trip to nearby Torabhaig Distillery, closer and easer to book than the much better known Talisker, but do both if you can.

The 5 course taster menu is fantastic.

The 5 course taster menu is fantastic. My family ooed and arred as each course arrived. I became aware the the people at the other tables were ooing and arring as well. I wonder if the serving staff ever get bored witb hearing the expressions of delight as the customers proceed through the meal.

beautiful location, everything about the hotel was good. Food on the first night was a bit below par which we put down to it being their first night after reopening. Sauces were a bit gloopy and heavy. Second evening was much better and at the level we expected. Perhaps not quite as good as a few years ago when Tully was head chef but still very enjoyable.

Amazing location. Superb service. A particularly highlight is the dining. The chef and his team source high quality local produce which is turn beautifully cooked with the menu changing daily. Add in the high quality wine list and this is a very special experience. A real gem of a hotel.
