Despite the age of the Inn, it is beautifully appointed and charming. Since the Inn is closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, we weren’t able to take advantage of the wonderful food we hear they have. Food is available about 5 miles away. We’d definitely stay again!

We had a lovely big room with bathroom. Shower over bath worked well and complementary products were good quality as were the towels. Staff friendly and food good with some nice diversity from typical pub food.
This former hunting lodge is now a modern hotel located in a quiet area, with views of the village green. It offers a bar, good food and free Wi-Fi.

Liongate House in Ilchester provides accommodations with a garden and a terrace. This 4-star bed and breakfast offers luggage storage space and daily room service.

The hosts, Liz and Graeme, were absolutely delightful and gave us a warm welcome. We had a good night's sleep and breakfast in the morning was excellent.

The whole experience was fantastic, we don't often go away, so we really enjoyed ourselves.
Normally we are on a budget, but we spent alot as it was our anniversary. However you can spend less if you are sensible.
Wifi was patchy in certain areas as was the tv signal, but it didn't spoil our stay as it wasn't important to us. And there was a mix up with booking the room we requested, so if you prefer call to confirm your request ahead of your stay. But again the room we were given was lovely anyway.
