All the food was exceptional. The breakfast was amazing , could not finish it.
The location was bang in the middle of Keswick square, couldn't have been better. We had a room over looking the main square on the first floor. Amazing room.

Love love love Keswick, Nothing not to love, great selection of shops, especially outdoor, walking. Lovely walks especially by the lake. Loads of eating, drinking establishments and dog friendly, apart from Wetherspoons, but it is the best wetherspoons we've been in.. A place for all abilities whether you just stroll through the parks or hike up the fells.

The walk along the lake side to Friar's Crag is lovely, and suitable for the infirm. The walk up Cap Bells is also lovely, but not suitable for the infirm - Several very scrambly bits going up and lots of high impact steps coming back down (walking anti-clockwise). Lovely views over the lake from the top on a clear day,
We ate in the Fell Pack, where we had a delicious meal.. Not cheap, but worth it.
Portinscale is a good place to stay, out of the hustle-bustle of the town but easy access.

We have stayed in Keswick many times and this property was two minutes from the centre, ideal location.
A beautiful cottage, however in need of a good deep clean, my daughter dropped her earring in the small bedroom, when my husband lifted the beds, their was dust and food underneath, it put my her off sleeping in there.
Sorry for the bad review but I could see no cleaning had been done.

Something for everyone!
Something for everyone! The town is full of eateries, pubs and shops. There are walks within walking distance, both easy and more challenging. If you're staying for more than a few days there are lots of walks and smaller towns within a short distance.
Stunning views in every direction.

Excellent place to stay in Keswick. Lovely room, very clean and comfortable bed, me and my husband both slept very well. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast is delicious. Nice quiet street but very quick to walk into the town centre. I easily found a place to park my car on the street outside. Thoughtful extras provided by the owners such as homemade cakes and fresh milk available for cups of tea in your room. I would highly recommend!
superb breakfast, really good quality ingredients and very friendly hosts. Dog friendly and made you feel so welcome. Proximity to town centre was superb and couldn't really asked for a nicer stay. Even did me a late breakfast as i was doing the Keswick parkrun at 9 am.
Hotel was in a brilliant location, only a few minutes’ walk from the lake, a lovely park, with pitch & putt, and the town centre. Staff were friendly & helpful & everything was clean
