The staff were friendly and very helpful on checking in/out, directing us to the car park and helping to load/unload bags.
The room was very comfortable with teas, coffee and a treat from the bakery downstairs. We also had a great view of the bridge.
Highly recommend D'arcy's at The Station for dinner, it was excellent.

Ironbridge is a beautiful historic place and I really enjoyed the various museums. The Victorian town is amazing and would appeal to anyone not just history lovers.
The Broseley Pipeworks and the Tar Tunnel and the Derby Houses are only open in the summer.
It was well-worth buying a museum pass.

Stayed in Jackfield There was a pleasant, flat 20 minutes walk into Ironnbridge so no problems with parkiing or it's cost.
Love history so there was much to see/learn and experience.
Easy walk along riverside where shops, pubs and restaurants were. Otherwise very steepsided valley but worth the effort of exploring back streets, alleyways and steps to see wonderful properties and views.

What a fantastic place!
What a fantastic place! Steeped in a plethora of historical sites, Ironbridge is quiet and so interesting. Don't miss the pub singalong in Blitses Hill Victorian town. Blackberries for the picking everywhere, too!

Parking in the town can be an bit of an issue but there is a reasonably priced local authority car park across the river bridge from the town. We used Ironbrdge as a base to explore the local area, lots to see and do, many places to eat and plenty to see. We will certainly be back

A great little town with the famous bridge at its heart.
A great little town with the famous bridge at its heart. A range of walks and excursions into the historic landscapes, many museums and attractions close by (Blist's Hill & Jackfield tile museum rate especially highly). Many choices for places to eat and drink, and if you enjoy good craft beer check out the Coracle microwpub on the High Street.

Very nice area full of history about industrial Britain and those responsible for getting the iron industry going. Several museums showing the different types of industry. The museums are expensive to enter and you have to pay to park.
Several places to eat and stay
A really delightful, family owned and run hotel. And that shows -this is no standardised chain. its character and the attention to detail is impressive.
The food is excellent (do try the blade of beef), the staff friendly and helpful, the warm, oak panelled interior is full of interest, and the quirkily charming garden a must for a stroll after breakfast.
And it is superbly positioned only a few miles from the many attractions of Ironbridge and the Gorge.
This property is in a fantastic location about 200m from the bridge and the centre of Ironbridge. There are 3 good pubs nearby to choose from and Blists Hill Museum is a 50 minute walk. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.
