Dawn was very welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. She is also a great cook and breakfast was delicious. The room was very comfortable within a stone's throw of the fascinating Museum of Iron and an easy 20-minute stroll to the stunning iron bridge. A wonderful find in a great location.

Always lots to do here, and the Pass Plus is definitely worth paying for. This was a return trip from Easter to see the fireworks and it was fabulous. Plan to spend a good day in Blists Hill, but make time for the museums, as they are all well run and have some wonderful and enthusiastic people running them. Have visited twice this year and still reckon we could go again without being bored!

Ironbridge is a lovely town on the banks of the River Severn. It is full of interesting places to visit. Plenty of places to eat. There are lots of museums to visit and of course the Ironbridge itself. There is a bus to visit the various sites if you don't want to use your car.

Ironbridge is a lovely place full of history.
Ironbridge is a lovely place full of history. The museums were all very close and by buying the pass, it was easy and convenient and we saved money. The Victorian village should not be missed. We spent 4 hours walking around and could have spent more if it hadn't started raining and we weren't going onto other museums.
If you have children i would recommend Enginuity, which is by the Iron museum. We visited 7 different museums and found them all interesting, with helpful and friendly staff.
There are plenty of places to eat and drink in Ironbridge, with a few shops to brows.

Ironbridge is a beautiful historic place and I really enjoyed the various museums. The Victorian town is amazing and would appeal to anyone not just history lovers.
The Broseley Pipeworks and the Tar Tunnel and the Derby Houses are only open in the summer.
It was well-worth buying a museum pass.

Stayed in Jackfield There was a pleasant, flat 20 minutes walk into Ironnbridge so no problems with parkiing or it's cost.
Love history so there was much to see/learn and experience.
Easy walk along riverside where shops, pubs and restaurants were. Otherwise very steepsided valley but worth the effort of exploring back streets, alleyways and steps to see wonderful properties and views.

The location is perfect though this does mean leaving the car a 10 minute walk away in a locked car park. The room was very comfortable with a stunning view on the Ironbridge. The room had a fridge, complete with water, wine and juices. The bathroom featured both a roll bath facing the Ironbridge and a shower. Blists Hill Victorian Town Museum and RAF Cosford (free!) are well worth a visit and are nearby.
Lovely old hotel. Victoria was a fabulous host, with attention to every little detail. Location was superb, with on-site parking, and just a short stroll down the hill from the main Ironbridge High Street, and all local museums, restaurants, pubs and the river front all within walking distance.
