Everything really. The bed was really comfortable and the bedroom had a view directly over the sea. The bathroom had a bath which I enjoyed making use of. The bar area of the hotel was good and you could take a drink out into the garden if you wanted to and also have a bite to eat in the bar if you wanted to. I liked that flexibility. The hotel was also very centrally located

Hunstanton is lovely, various arcades, eateries, pubs, shops and a theatre. The beach goes on for miles, you can take a lovely walk from Hunstanton to Heacham, the pathway is concrete & flat, so is accessible for anyone with mobility issues. There are a number of toilets facilities around the town and beach front, with lovely garden areas with flat walkways to wander along and plenty of seating. A great base to travel to other locations along the coast, such as Wells Next The Sea, Sheringham & Cromer. There are also coastal and seal spotting trips available, as well as the Sealife centre on the sea front.

We stayed in Old Hunstanton and it was beautiful. Loved the cafe on the beach, walks along the beach with the dog. Nature reserves close by and plenty of things to do if you drive. Dog friendly hotel was beautiful too and in a location very close to the beach. Hunstanton town with the arcades etc was not for me personally.

not many restaurants open in the evening.

not many restaurants open in the evening. No banks but a banking hub if needed. nice coffee shops. Tourist info not very helpful although the bus time tables were there, too much detail about things too far away. Need more local walks info.

We both had the cooked breakfast which was very good. Bed was very large and comfortable. Room was nice and warm. Location was very close to the promenade and we enjoyed long walks along the seawall. The bathroom was large and had a bath and a shower with lots of hot water. We went to this hotel especially because it was dog friendly and were allowed to have our lovely dog with us in our bedroom. Free parking right outside the hotel was a bonus. Tea and coffee making facilities were topped up whenever we asked.

The location is one of the best in Hunstanton, central for everything. The private parking fee is very reasonable and saves the hassle of trying to park in the public area in front of the hotel. The staff are friendly. Nice to sit outside and see the sunset over the sea.
