location was good. it was perfect because my sister lives in Harlow. The guest house was clean and tidy always and easily accessible. There were enough items in the fridge for breakfast and a nice sitting area for gathering. it was peaceful and quiet. Lovely!

The staff were very very helpful, polite and kind. Ever ready to help sort a problem. When asked they assisted with any help asked during set up of the hall for a party. Left drinks left at the bar remained intact over night. Very impressive. I will recommend the hotel or use it again
We stayed at Harlow Hotel to host a party. The staff were ever so helpful during the set up and set down. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.. worthy to note that drinks left at the center hall bar which initially was not locked up remained intact, and no drink missing. The breakfast had the English continental breakfast. The opening times were reasonable.

It was a bit run down.
It was a bit run down. I think it lost out due to economic failure and it would appear that there's a lot of welfare dependency and poor health choices everywhere I looked. Far too many fast food outlets and gambling and betting shops.

"We chose the destination Horlow just to get to the neighboring town and take the metro to London. The town of Harlow isn't bad; there's a promenade and some shops. What I really liked was the park just outside the town, about a 20-minute walk away, where there was a small zoo, refreshments, and a playground for children."

After living in Harlow for 60+ years it has changed so much and very run down, the town centre is being demolished and no shops? But the hotel is situated in the old town and is in a lovely location. Harlow is close if you are travelling to London or Stansted airport.

The Harlow hotel was disgusting. Dirty and unkempt.
The Harlow hotel was disgusting. Dirty and unkempt. The rooms had nothing in them and the towels were old and not clean. .
It was full of refugees who were being housed there. My young daughters were woken at 1.30 by the police knocking on their door. They were questioned in relation to an incident that had no relation to them.
They were terrified and then couldn’t sleep. We were charged an additional £6 to park in the hotels own car park .
This cannot be described as a hotel but a refugee hostel at best yet we were charged £ 236 for one night.
I would question why booking.com have listed it as a hotel. It concerns me that I will experience something similar again as it was totally misrepresented. I will be reluctant to use booking.com if I cannot rely on the accommodation being as advertised.

Great location, quiet with nice grounds, the property is really nicely done with quality décor, plush furnishings and really high-class bathrooms and kitchen. Did not expect to find this, it's 5 star! Easily comparably with some of the top hotels, will be looking to stay here again when working away.
Exceptionally clean hotel. The bathroom was immaculate. Friendly and helpful staff. As an IHG member I was able to book late check out. Room was a good size. Five minute cab ride from Harlow Town train station.
We got a king room, honesty one of the best room I have ever slept, so comfortable.
Close to Harlow Mill Station, strategic to London Town or Stansted.
Highly recommended.
