Really friendly host and lovely location, perfect for exploring the dales.

Grassington is beautiful and you feel like you are stepping back in time whilst in the heart of the village. The people are friendly and the lady in the gift shop was patient with people asking her about the filming of All Creatures Great and Small.
There are some lovely walks right from the village, this time of the year some of the shops close but I can imagine it would be wonderful wandering the streets in Spring or summer.
There is a local shop in the village and The Sunday Roast at the Devonshire is wonderful, there is even a little menu for your pooch!
Put Grassington on your go to list, you can't go wrong in the heart of the dales.

Such a charming, friendly little village.
Such a charming, friendly little village. Has beautiful views and is just too pretty- especially in the snow with the twinkling lights. Also lovely to see locations from the TV series All Creatures Great and Small. Walker and dog friendly little place. Lots of interesting little shops and friendly cafes and pubs.

We have been visiting Grassington as a family for over 30 years. It was lovely to visit again as a couple. It is a fabulous Yorkshire village with everything you could possibly want of a country break.

Liked the quaintness of the town centre & the ease of access to the Dales beyond. As a place to visit for a short visit/ stay ( without being aware of the TV connection!) It was interesting but felt busy / touristy even in late November.

A beautiful part of the Dales.
A beautiful part of the Dales. Close to the River Wharfe, Skipton, Bolton Abbey and plenty of beautiful villages with village pubs and eateries. Lots of walking routes/ trails and cycling opportunities. I dstayed at the Foresters Arms which is in the process of been taken over with new owners, but plenty of other places to stay. Expect to pay for parking, but some free spaces in the town centre.

See reviews by guests who stayed at hotels in Grassington
All the creative decorations give the entire place (entrance, hall, staircase, room and dining hall) a welcoming and warm atmosphere, without making it kitschy. All of the little details, starting with the handmade shelves, hand-crafted art works all-around the walls, the check-in experience, the Scandinavian style no-shoe policy, ending with how the cooked breakfast is prepared make it obvious that Craiglands is not just a typical B&B in the heart of Yorkshire Dales, but an inviting space that is taken care truly with heart and soul.
Great Location, room was the 'Square' which was massive and beautifully decorated with views across the cobbled Square at Grassington. Food was fantastic, we had an evening meal and a cooked brekkie and would recommend. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful during our stay. The hotel has a nice bar but there are also several others within a minute of the hotel.
Great location, easy to find and park, close to the Yorkshire Dales. There is nothing else nearby, so you would have to drive, just bear in mind.
The staff were very friendly and so the place had a nice atmosphere.
