Excellent location with a lovely view of the bay, and a wonderfully comfortable bed 🛌!!! Very private , quiet, peaceful and super convenient to go downstairs by the log fire for a drink or chat or dinner and breakfast overlooking the bay nearby at The Captains. Close to the magical beach too! All in all a wonderful weekend.

There was a meeting meditation with nature song at the Universal Hall for all residents and quest upon the second day of my arrival . Amazing magical experience ✴️ of shared wisdom and calmness with some healing attributes, truly unforgettable. Thank you so much Findhorn Foundation!

The staff were all very friendly and it’s a great location right on the high street.
The rooms were fairly clean but could do with a little more attention. There were tea and coffee facilities in the room and a TV (although we didn’t use this). The beds were comfortable and clean, which is what you want. But the breakfasts were great and so fresh, we only had to wait about 10 minutes which is no time at all for a full fresh breakfast.

The beach there was beautiful with a bay that went round in almost a circle. It was popular with dog walkers. It was cold and windy on the day we were there, but I would imagine on a nice day you could sit on the beach. Beautiful views all round. Close to a nice pub where we stayed which does very nice food which is good value for money. The beach was very quiet and had a nice calming atmosphere.

Findhorn is a special place to us! Lots of lovely beach walks and lovely cafes/pubs too. Abbey Cottage is hosted by Alex and Christine and Alex sorted out a problem with the TV very swiftly - nothing is too much trouble for him!

Findhorn is a beautiful place with stunning views of the sea and nearby forests. You can walk miles on an almost empty beach and enjoy great food and a huge selection of drinks at the Crown and Anchor.
