Crows Nest Caravan Park, hotel in Filey

Located on the scenic Yorkshire coast and 15 minutes’ drive from the North York Moors National Park, Crows Nest Caravan Park offers a heated indoor swimming pool, and a children’s play area.

Great location, very close to Filey and not very far from Scarborough. The static caravan was very well equipped, perfect for the whole family. The caravan park is lovely and we felt safe enough to let our children go around by themselves. Dog park was really nice, to let doggie off to run around by herself and meet some new friends.

Filey is great if you have young kids and you don't want the rat race of Scarborough or Whitby. There isn't a lot to do there besides the beach which is one of the best and not too crowded because it is very long. There are some lovely pubs and restaurants which are on par with the bigger resort towns but i have to say one pub we ate regularly in while we were there The Star the food was excellent and no more expensive than anywhere else. There are kids play areas at the far ends of the main beach areas, They do charge a lot for some of the rides but some are cheap,The ice cream sellers are charging alot. There is only one major store in Filey which is Tesco but they have pretty much everything you will need.

Great costal location and an ideal base for the area- Malton, Goathland Station. Dog friendly and great beach for walks. Supermarket in easy reach and a useful local shop. Leisure facilities available e.g. swimming pool- didn't use, but crowded at high season. The Bay is an airy uncrowded estate and feels very safe for families.

Filey has a beautiful long stretch of beach - you can walk along the beach to Humanby. The brigg is a rocky outstretch with rock pools with crabs. Plenty of places to eat and drink. A fab place for young and old alike. Not a lot for teenagers though.

Filey is a great little sea-side town with a lovely big sandy beach. There are some good shops for food etc. and places to eat and drink. It is quite a steep drop to get to the beach though so anyone with disabilities might want to keep this in mind.

Filey is beautiful, this is In perfect location to the circus, Cayton bay, Scarborough and Filey itself it took us no more then 10 minutes to get wherever we were going which was a bonus. This is a beautiful cottage and had a lot of good factors, excellent WiFi, spacious, included all the things we needed. Easy check in although I didn’t meet the holiday owners everything was very easy and I had their phone number if I needed them. We ran out of toilet paper on the last morning of our stay so would probably recommend an extra toilet roll.

The location was super, well kept park and lovely village with bus service to Filey, Scarborough etc running every hour. Ivy had a good space especially the kitchen which allowed for more than one person to be in at a time. The bedrooms were a good size and the lounge was comfortable. Reception were very helpful and kind when we engaged with them and we enjoyed the Friday evening 'entertainment' at the bar too.
