Nice seaside town.
Nice seaside town. Dying for a bit of investment to do up some of the run-down looking buildings & develop attractions. Not a great deal to do there besides going up on the downs or visiting nearby towns. Plenty of good food and nice pubs. Good for cycling.

In parts tacky and touristy.
In parts tacky and touristy. Some pretty dodgy and run-down areas. But many friendly old age pensioners, too.
Nearby Beachy Head (a 13x bus runs ever hour on a Sunday from the pier) is wild, windy and spectcular. There is a small outdoor cafe/shack that serves some interesting food at the Beachy Head Center, but the museum is closed right now.
