Darlington is a yet town with very chatty and friendly people. I enjoyed my stay. I stayed in an accommodation very close to the train station and the mall.
I didn't really visit a lot of places because I was there for work but I had a nice time

I have been to Darlington a number of times, found it very welcoming and interesting.
On this occasion I was passing through in connection with work and chosen for it's location, to make my onward journey the next day easier, due to it's proximity to the M1 and A66.

We were in the area for a family wedding , so were not sightseeing. I would love to return with a good bike to explore the surrounding countryside.
Lots of local wildlife, and not very hilly for an older cyclist.

This delightfully traditional pub with rooms is conveniently sited near to Darlington Bank Top station and just outside the compact town centre with its many eateries, heritage and cultural amenities. Spotlessly clean, basic but fully equipped this is a gem I'm tempted to keep to myself!
Gorgeous boutique hotel in the centre of town
Beautiful room, with clawfoot bath.
A hidden gem we will definitely return to.
Great value for money - have paid alot more for alot less.
Breakfast was outstanding too
Great hotel. Friendly staff. Fantastic restaurant.
I was in a West Wing room which was fairly basic, but very clean and perfect for my stay. The price was also very good (cheaper than a Premier Inn)
The hotel is situated in the town centre so was close to where we were going. It is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here before and will stay there again.
