Rum Bridge 'Hazels' Pet Friendly Glamping Pod, hotel in Clare

Offering a garden and garden view, Rum Bridge 'Hazels' Pet Friendly Glamping Pod is set in Clare, 25 km from Ickworth House and 28 km from Freeport Braintree.

The location, site and facilities (toilets/showers) we well maintained and clean. The accommodation (glamping pod) was clean and well presented, exactly as seen in pictures. The host was very welcoming, giving us a tour on arrival and accommodating our request to be close to the toilet facilities. We had breakfast on our final day and it was delicious and was worth the money.

Beautiful old building, tastefully renovated. Nice large king room with little lounge / work-space / dressing table, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Enjoyed being above the pub as it was the soccer final but people who sleep early should probably ask for a quieter room over weekends :) the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! Loved the stay so much stayed for an extra night.

Such a great find - the whole set up was great: big comfy bed, lovely shower, smart telly, nice toiletries and thoughtful attention to detail throughout. Breakfast was so cute. There was cereal, yoghurts, tea, coffee, orange juice, milk, jam, butter in the room and then the hosts brought fresh pastries and toast in the morning and we could have breakfast sat on the patio in the sun. Really peaceful location and lovely building.

Absolutely beautiful little place. We stayed in the room with the private garden and Paul was such a lovely host, setting up breakfast for us to have in the private garden just made our stay extra special. Lovely, clean room with a fantastic shower and bath and an extremely comfortable bed. Could not recommend highly enough.

The Greyhound - Historic former Inn, hotel in Clare

Greyhound Cottage offers accommodation in Glemsford. A grade II listed building with a thatched roof, it offers free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on...

Not sure where to start but we loved every second of our stay, which was so memorable, relaxing and such a treat. From the moment we arrived, to the time we left, we were so well looked after, and nothing was too much trouble. We absolutely loved the two rooms we booked. Both were large with plenty of space and really delightful. Our hosts attention to detail in the rooms and bathroom, was incredible. Each day, both rooms and bathrooms were totally cleaned and refreshed. Breakfast was absolutely superb and such a treat for us all. I wish even the best hotels could take note of the delights served up by our hosts. Do try the exceptional full English - so delicious. We are now back to Muesli!!! We were blown away by the gorgeous gardens, and even though the weather was not that kind, we managed to enjoy drinks and nibbles and savour the fresh Suffolk air, the wonderful birdlife and quietness each evening on the lawn. Prior to our visit, our hosts sent us detailed notes on local restaurants & reliable taxi firms. We used this to book for the three nights and each venue and our taxi service more than met expectation. Whilst we loved Suffolk and had such a wonderful four days, nothing could beat the 7 x Star Greyhound Cottage experience. THANK YOU so much to Doug and Kay - truly masters of hospitality.
