The reception staff were lovely and very welcoming. Our room was comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was fabulously comfortable we had an excellent night's sleep. The buffet breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.
The spa facilities are quite compact, the pool was a nice temperature though not very big. The steam-room, despite being only big enough for four people at a time, was nice and hot, the two heated lounger beds were very nice too. The spa was never too busy to get into the pool but swimming was pretty limited once there were half a dozen people in it.
There was a wedding reception on while we were there but the reception staff had very thoughtfully given us a room away from the noise of the party.
Livingstone in Chatham provides adults-only accommodations with a garden and a terrace. Both free Wifi and parking on-site are accessible at the bed and breakfast free of charge.

The landlord owes me 4 days rent. He took cash in hand after i booked with Booking.com he told me to leave with no notice at 9.00pm at night and i paid him till Monday. He took cash. The landlord Richard needs to be investigated as a landlord. i was letting people in he was never at the property to let in tenants sometimes 9 or 10pm at night. very unclean and he would turn up whenever he wanted to with his family. On one room no key to the door. Would not like you to have hot water or heating on. TV didnt work. i stayed there awhile due to no where to live i had no choice but a awful Bed and breakfast to stay at. I have text messages proving he owes me 4 days rent. He told me to keep it quiet from Bookong.com he didn't clean rooms properly very dusty in bedroom and would take away keys. porch key. i could have been locked in or out if given to another tenant. Awful place to stay...He needs to refunnd me 4 days money. Lisa oliver he knows who i am...

Plenty to do in the area, National Trust, English Heritage and various private places around. unfortunately Bus transport was restricted. The hotel is on a dual carriageway which means you can only go one way out of the site and up to the next roundabout to go in the opposite direction.

Having lived in Medway towns throughout childhood and dad, uncles and cousins worked at Chatham Dockyard, it was on my bucket list. It didn’t disappoint. Well worth the visit. The guides are brilliant. You need a whole day to get round it all and don’t forget to book Call the Midwife tour in advance.
Excellent for wheelchair users.

I travelled for work. Focus was not on sightseeing. However, from previous experience, there are a wide range of restaurants/cafes. Rochester Castle, Historic Dockyard and Royal Engineer museum is not too far away.

We went particularly to spend a day visiting the Chatham dock yard. It was amazing in size and content. We learned a lot about its history and were fascinated in going on board three historic vessels there. The eating areas were very good and gave good choices even for Vegans! Plenty of parking under cover.
