We arrived hours before our room was due to be ready, after a long overnight flight. The staff were exceptional and got our room ready for us early. Also they made us comfortable while we waited. Lauren on Reception sorted all of this out for us. Made to feel welcome from the minute that we arrived to the minute that we left. Fantastic Hotel.

In a lovely area, we ate at the Fox Revived, the night before our flight. Had a good night's sleep and a hearty breakfast overlooking the lovely gardens. Stress free trips to and from Gatwick, thanks to David & Julia's shuttle service. Highly recommended.

Everything! Before we arrived we were sent a text to tell us exactly how to find them. On arrival everything was there that we needed for our one night stay. The hut was beautifully finished to a high standard. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was still set up for summer with badically a sheet rather than a duvet over the bed but the British weather had turned cold so even just a thin duvet would have been ok but searching the room we found no alternative. Even though we switched the aircon off it kept turning itself on during the night and we were really cold throughout the night. £188 for that experience made it even worse.
We've stayed at this hotel many times before when flying out of the country and always had a great experience, hence repeat bookings, but this was the worst experience we've had.
The hotel is always clean with nice rooms, friendly staff, a good shower, and a direct connection straight into Gatwick's north terminal, but this time it was a cold experience with very little sleep.

This was a last minute booking due to a missed flight resulting from delays. I was able to book the room quick and easy, the staff were happy to help accommodate ordering in take out after a long day.
Room was in the outside building, generous size space and full size bathroom. Easy check out at 6am.

Booked parking (8 nights) and room for 1 night with holiday extras and room for 1 night with booking.com. Both exceptional value. Taxi to airport was a fixed £17.50 and very well organised. Even had tracking provided as to how long the taxi would be. Very friendly staff and excellent food. If you're on the 2nd floor the shower takes a while for the water to heat up. Lovely rooms.

Stay before early flight the following morning. The hotel was beautifully situated in picturesque surroundings.
The bar had a large selection of drinks even stocking the more rare spirits.
Plenty of choice in the restaurant

Booked this hotel for convenience of closeness to wedding venue, found out day before wedding we had been relocated to Europa.
This hotel wasn't convenient at all and stank to high heaven of mould and smoke.
Wouldn't recommend to anybody.
Only bonus is staff were friendly.

We like the hotel in general for the location ambience and grounds. We do not like being put into attic rooms every time we stay at the hotel. Heat is very noisey or as per this stay AC controls don't work. The room lighting is always very poor i.e. in 216 you either have to all the central lights on or no lights for desk and sitting area.

Excellent staff, good sized room and lovely grounds with fields especially for dogs to run off the lead. The food was good and I am sure would be even better if eaten in the dining room rather than our bedroom!

They advertised the hotel as being 3 miles outside Gatwick Airport - It was more like 30 miles! Not easy to get around as there is no facilities in the immediate area i.e. restaurants/bars. Bar closed early 10.30p.m. although advertised as closing at 11 p.m. even when people were still asking for drinks.
A fantastic place in the countryside with a beautiful garden. Ideal to relax before flying from Gatwick Airport! Excellent, friendly staff. I enjoyed a walk into Charlwood on a woodland path, which took only 20 minutes. I discovered that from here you can take a regular bus to the airport (worth considering if you are travelling light?), but preferred to take a taxi! I can't comment on the catering as I didn't have dinner or breakfast at the hotel.
Wonderful little hideaway close to Gatwick. I really appreciated the way the host collected me at the terminal and drove me back the following day. Tasty hot breakfast. And an easy walk into the sweet village of Charlwood for dinner at the pub.
Location to Gatwick is fabulous and for less than a hotel room you can have a fabulous space for a couple, family of four or 2 couples. Great facilities, comfy beds and lots of little extras, including the gorgeous dogs who came to welcome us.
